I Bow as Acelyn Enters. ''A pleasure madam. I hope no more incidents take place.'' I finish my meal and wait, only before noticing Acelyn leave. I stand, and exit, pausing only to say to Sylus ''I liked him too. I wish he werent dead.''
I follow Acelyn to the room, silenty, through years of practice of being seen but not heard. I wait outside the door as she pokes around, but then get curious and enter. ''You know, i only knew him for a short while, and i'd say he's not the sort to jump either.''

When he spoke Acelyn flinched horribly sucking in breathe quickly as if trying to get in one great breathe should it be her last. She turned her palms resting where the dead man’s hands had. She turned her swampy eyes leering not unkindly at the man who had entered the room. She studied him almost wearily as though searching for a sign that he was not about to thrust her out a window to a crushing end. She shuddered as worse thoughts toyed through her mind. One thing was for certain she was suddenly very aware of her female qualities that might make her a more desirable target than the street urchin and men in general. This thought process was only shown in the way she folded her arms across her chest protectively, “I would take it as a great kindness if you did not stare through cracked doors at me.” Her eyes suddenly glistened with mirth and her lips took on a sardonic cat grin, “After all, I have nothing to hide. I would be quite agreeable to giving you a real thing to lay eyes upon.” As she said this she moved from her place at the window strutting like the picture of beauty none could deny she was towards him. She grinned almost ruthlessly her boots crunching against the stone work. She turned slowly removing the riding gloves as she came to a stop before him the door way blocked, “I could care less for the man who splattered onto the estate grounds…now the man who pushed him…that chap has me a bit more…..excited.” She looked him straight in the eye waiting for him to either respond or step aside.

I take a glance at the kid...Sylus was it? He seemed like he had had a hard life, almost reminded me of myself at that age, killing to get by, every day a struggle for survival.
The kids sudden motion towards the food startled me and impulsivly grab his arm. I saw him cringe as my grip was like a vice. I release his arm, and pulled out a candy.
Leaning in, my voice a whisper. "I wouldn't eat anything here bud, they could have poisoned it. All of us gathered here to be knocked off one by one, like a rich mans sick game."
After that statement I handed the boy a candy, and gazed around the table. A large carving knife caught my eye, and looking around to make sure no one would see, I slid the knife into my jacket sleeve, securing it in a hidden sheeth.

I smile slightly. ''Now that is interesting. You react to my sudden appearence with fear masked with Bravado. I'm sorry ma'am, if i startled you. And Might i say, with the greates possible respect, You are quite the picture of beauty.'' Wth that, he bowed and stepped back, and left her alone. He did not wish to say anything about what he had or had not done. Argument was not his strong point.

Whether the compliment tickled Acelyn's fancy was unrecognizable because the only apparent emotion she showed came when he said fear masked with bravado, "There is a difference between fear...and not being a fool." she grinned at him stepping through the opening he had left although it must be said as she moved past him he saw her body prepared to move suddenly in a burst of speed.
Finally past him she smiled and then turned, "So just why were you following me?" her eyes narrowed still a sardonic look on her face as she moved to leave him , "Now I want to know why we were summoned...." she muttered in a annoyed voice moving towards the hall they had been welcomed to and scanning for a servant.

"I don't eat sweets, I trust the apples though." Sylus said rubbing his red wrist. "You coulda hurt me...." He said as the man slid a knife up his sleeve. 'So he thinks no one notices it huh? I bet he killed that nice man....' Sylus thought to himself slinking out the door and down the hall. Knives were what he feared. He had been damaged for so long as a child, the gleam of a blade peircing the nice man kept invading his mind, he must be the one.
He unknowingly walked into the room of the now dead man and moved towards the window, a shard of glass still lay on the floor, a weapon of defence. "I must tell that women my suspisions."

I finally find the owner of the house, after hours of going round in circles.
"Sir! Sir!" I cry.
"Hmm?"
"Sir. I think that man last night..." I begin
"Oh him," he interrupts, "don't worry about him. Just cabin fever I fear."
"That's just it. I don't think he jumped. I think he was pushed."
"Oh? Really? Why do you say that?"
After telling him my investigation of the room and rooftop, I tell him of the man who ran away.
"...but I didn't get a good look at the face. Whoever it was, he was male, due to his gruff coughing, and, he was pretty short, but three of us are and quite a few of your servants are too, so that gets us nowhere."
"Hmm. I suppose there is a chance the Man in Blue startled him and he fell," the owner says, cluelessly.
"No!" I shout exasperatedly, "he was murdered!"
"Oh don't be silly. It was a suicide. Now," he says before I can interrupt, "I am very busy so I bid you good day."
With that, he walked off. I sigh and walk into the dining room. Out on the table is a platter of fruit. I reach for an apple and a knife. As my hands closes round the handle, I realise that one knife is missing. The murder weapon perhaps?
I think I need to find the poor man's corpse and perform a post-mortem, but the owner is suspicious. I'll have to do it at night. The guests shouldn't know either. They'll tell on me.
With that, I leave the dining room, the apple still untouched...

I notice the kid, his nervous face tinged with fear. He was afraid of me, good. Now as he walked away I knew he didn't trust me. Many years fighting with the steel legion had taught me a bit of body language, as we could here well over the sounds of explosions. This kid didn't trust me, probably thought I killed the man. Stupid kid, he was tossed from a window.
Standing I wandered into the hallway, awaiting the activities of today.

''Why did i Follow you?'' I asked, somewhat amused, keeping stride with her easily. ''Because i was Curious as to where you were going. and, after last night, I'm afraid that security is of the essence. We shouldn't travell alone. PLus, if two people are alone, and one dis, the otehr is almost certainly a killer.'' I stop Acelyn with a gentle hand to the shoulder. ''I followed you because i belive we are all in danger. And i don't want anyone else hurt.'' I smile. ''But enough grim topic. We should smile, have some fun! Or at least find out who summoned us, and why. Lead on, my good madam.'' I guesture for her to continue walking with an elegant wave ofmy gloved hand.

As evening approaches Donec's servants are buzzing around, finding the guests and bringing them to a large door. The door, a wooden one of a deep red colour decorated with golden imagery depicting the Imperial Eagle, is wide open with Donec standing just inside the room. - Guests! As you should be aware of you were summoned to my mansion here just yesterday. Some of you arrived later - Donec pauses and nods towards Acelyn and Liam before he continues - but that is acceptable. We have highly important matters to discuss no less, matter which are by no means allowed to be interrupted by a mere suicide. Please, take a seat. he says, gesturing towards a large oval table circled by wooden chairs.
As everyone present made it into the room and had taken a seat, the servants left and the doors closed behind them. Immediately Donec started to explain the situation and why they were there. However, there were eight seats where three was unoccupied. One of them belonging to the recently deceased Hurg, the other belonging to Casius. It didn't pass anyone at the time that more than a single seat was empty, but it certainly did pass Casius that he wasn't there.
While he had been walking down the hallway of the mansion, admiring the different pieces of art as much as he felt disgust towards how the Lord General lived compared to the rest of the populace, he was pushed into a closet that just happened to be wide open. Disorientated by the attack Casius couldn't quite make out who was responsible for it, mainly because a street light was blinding him from outside but also because of hitting his head against the wall. Regardless it didn't take long before the closet being closed and with a deep cut in his throat Casius was but a dead body in an old man's closet. Just as Donec had sent his servants to fetch all the guests a maid had been passing by, having seen the former mercenary pass by before being asked to fetch him. Somewhat obsessed about cleaning she had immediately noticed a thick dark red liquid dripping from the closet Casius took his last breath in. She did however faint as she opened the doors. Being found on the floor by one of the other servants about an hour later.
- So as I was saying, the situation in Vietlam is di - Donec is interrupted by the doors flying up, the two servants standing in the opening, both white as ghosts - And what is it that is to interrupt Lord General Donec Filius? the old man shouts at the two. - Sir, I am extremely sorry to interrupt you but one of your guests... the maid pauses, unable to speak further. - My lord, one of your guests has been found murdered in a closet down the hallway leading towards the map room. The guest in question being the mercenary from Armageddon.
The room becomes awkwardly silent, the air feeling as if it's getting thicker by the moment. Donec is simply shocked by the news his servants had brought him. - So it was murder after all.. he says quietly.

"NO!" Sylus said standing and yelling, "I was absolutely positive it was him who killed the nice man!" Sylus broke into tears, his gut had never failed him. He banged his hand against the table and all could see a dark bruise where the Merc had grabbed his arm earlier in the day. "We are all here so who could have killed the man?"

Francesco stood up, walked over to Sylus and put an arm round him. "Now now young man. Dont cry. Its a horrible thhing, to be sure. But if we are all here, then someone else is at work. This.... other party may be under one, or multiple orders from one or multiple of the gathered here. But have no fear. The Emperor protects the faithful." He smiled, then took his seat again.
