First of all, if you haven't gotten a PM you are but a normal innocent civilian. If you have received a role you WILL NOT reveal it to anyone! Also, no, dead men don't speak.
Also, start! _______________________________________
You have been summoned to Vestibulum V, the Vestibulum system in the Eastern fringe. You are here by order of Lord General Donec Filius, why you do not know but regardless you are here waiting for his arrival. It would be unwise to disobey if you want to see tomorrow anyhow.
You take a look around the hall you are in, seeing overly decorated steel walls and various pedestals with what you assume are busts depicting the Lord General. You let out a sigh and pick out a holo-screen which you received when you got this "invitation" and read it again trying to figure out what exactly you are doing here.
Leaders of the Vestibulum system,
You have been invited by Lord General Donec Filius to attend a meeting of incredible importance at Urbem alpha IX. You are expected to be present at Donec's mansion located in the city in exactly one week.
You are expected.
It didn't make more sense than the last couple of times you read it and certainly wouldn't become any better.

As I walk the Halls I see many things that create such aw in my mind, A lonely street runner, a coward, a starving boy, why am I here? Why me I think to myself. "Hello anyone here?" I yell out cowering as I round a corner.

"Aye," I reply, hearing the voice behind me. Turning I can see he is a [Insert description here] man with [Insert object here] in his hands.
"Do you have any idea why we're here. I'm guessing you were invited like everyone else?"

I struggle mightily to contain a sigh, give up the cause as hopeless, and sigh heavily. I brush imaginary dust off of my trencher coat, merely killing time. I ignore the others around me, I was never one given to small talk.
"Important meeting he says, what type of problem that is important requires a foreman? Wouldn't he call the Adeptus Arbites or somebody else of a much mightier build?" I mutter to myself.

"You don't know the nature of the problem." I say, placing my hand on the shoulder of the trencher coat. "For all we know, we could all be about to get launched onto some deathworld and told to survive as best we can." I pull out a hardback copy of 'the spheres of longing'; "To be frank I don't care why I'm here, so long as I can read. I am, after all, a librarian." I find a corner to sit in, and start reading.

"Whatever it is we are here for, I doubt it's going to be very pleasant." Said another man. "No offense, but the lot of you seem rather expendable. "Leaders" indeed... heh."
This newcomer was coming down the corridor, fiddling with a device on his arm. He wore a grubby robe, which bore the tell-tale cables of extensive cybernetic work.
"I know I'm not going to be having a good time, whatever it is. Some Emperor-Damned mission, probably. I'm Jotvob, by the way, you might need to get my attention later or something."
With an undeniable smugness, he strode into the midst of the group, and surveyed them all with a bionic eye.
"Hrrrm... waiting? Grrr... I don't care what they want. I'm coming out good either way, if they like it or not."

A figure stood by a pillar, his body completely darkened except for his face, brightened by the glow of his cigrette. He snuffed it out and strode into the light. His shortened spiked blonde hair, and piercing eyes were weathered, and looked tired. His 'o clock shadow showed his need of a shave, and his leather jacket contrasting his blue jeans.
"I don't know what this (please do not swear) is all about, but even a mercanary know better than to mess with the man..." the figure growls, turning to Jotvob he sneers "and I'm not expendable, unlike your body is to you aparently. The names Casius, you bionic dog. And you're in the same boat we are."

I enter the room where the others appear to be. 'And here you are. I've been around for some time. Couldn't find you.'' He was wearing a sharp suit and had long black hair tied back in a knee length ponytail. ''Names Francesco.'' He smiles. ''Pleasure to meet you. Though it'd be an even greater one if i knew what was happening here.''

"I'll second that, Francesco." I say, leaning on my nalwood cane as I stand, closing 'the spheres of longing' and replacing it in my coat pocket. "My name is Tiberus, and I take it by the numbers that we are close as we are going to get to a group. I take it from your appearance that you are a learned man, Francesco. Have you read the works of Ravenor?"

Francesco shook his head. "I am, in effectiveness, a butler. a little bit of combat training for bodyguard work, but nothing much. im more suited to polishing and such." he said. "and woth my busy schedule, i do not find much time to read. I may have briefly veiwed Ravenors work." he said, bowing with respect.

"Raven-who?" I grunt, "Librarian, next time you touch a man's shoulder, make sure that said man is okay with the touch," I straighten the coat, "I'm not sure that reading will fix this, or any, problem in this universe." I bang the back of my head against the pillar I am leaning against in boredom, "I suppose I should introduce myself, name's Carindius, a shipyard foreman. No clue why I'm here but the shipyard's been silent for so long that I'm glad just to have something to do. Though I don't appreciate the mystery."

(slipped back into my usual 3rd person roleplay style there... oops)
I look directly at Carindus. ''Pleasure to meet you Carindus'' I say, offering a hand. ''I agree with you totally, the mystery is uneccessary, whoever invited us here should show us who they are, and why we are here. However, i cannot see that happening soon, so i suggest we find a place to stay for the night.''

I decide, after looking around, that everyone else seems to keep to themselves, so I do the same, sitting down on a nearby bench, watching everyone else shamble around.
I begin to get bored and start twiddling my thumbs...

I walk towards the boy, and reach into my back pouch. I pull out two things, an blood red apple, and a 12" butterfly knife. Cutting off a large slice of the apple I hand it over to him, and give him the rest of the apple.
"What the hell is a kid doing here?" I snarl, glaring at everyone in the room.
