Walking away from the mess of squacking techs Xero's growls at the Master of the Forge. "Master Forger, I would not let anything near that pod that hasn't proven its utermost loyalty to the Emperor, lest you wish to contaminate my work..." Pushing past the Master he walks towards Katarina.
"My Lady, I would request that you allow the Ordo Malleus Grey Knights to take the in Retributor formation on the surface. I and Brother Azmodeus at the front with Lord Perifidus on your right, with Brother Wrenn holding the Rear." Xero's kneel's before the inquisitor, "You are the VIP in our group, so it falls to us to protect you, even if it meens our life."
The Purifier stands, and wanders towards the "Designated" Drop pods. Xero's considers cleansing them, but shoves the thought away. These are Inquisitorial Drop Pods, they should be fine. Stepping into his pod, he locks himself in, and begins to recite the prayer of safe deliverance.

OOC: I feel that I should make a note of this. My characters name is Samael, not Samuel, a fine distinction but an important one (if you want to know why, google the name). Calling him Samuel to his face might get you a bolter round to your face.
"Yes let us do that Scorch". Samael said and walekd with the marine to the drop pods. As he listened to the master of the forge he smiled slightly to himself before loudly saying "I do not have any interest in such a thing. If anybody else does they can take it.". With that said Samael walked to his pod and sat down inside, taking out a data slate and beginning to read a highly classified book on xeno/warp connections and listing all known enemies of mankind that could somehow travel quickly across long distances, be it by using webways, warp or other means of transportation. Sometimes while reading he made small notes about faults or interesting details in the book.

Ripjaw leaned against the bulkhead near his droppod. Yet he thought back to the days he was a warrior of slanish a skilled skull captian till his time he joined the iron mongers and purified of the taint. He still had the powerful arcane power fist his lord gave him. Sad the imperum would kill him if he had it on but what they didn't know would never hurt them. He opend a pack and made sure the fist was in there he also made sure he had his blink wargear a special device chaos sorcers use he was glad he could keep that.
"May the machine guid me" he said as he reved his lancer vairint of the bolt gun.

"Though mere mortals in His service, everlasting shall be our True Duty. Et Imperator Invocato Diabolus Daemonica Excorism!"
Azmodeus finishes his prayer and sets about purifying his weapons and armor. As he works Azmodeus attaches new purity seals to his arms and armor, murmuring the rite of purification as he does so. He pays special attention to his halberd, as it is his main weapon and should it fall he would be in trouble. This tasks consumes him for the next hour or so.
As Perifidus walks into his cell he recites a litany that his master taught him. It is used to remind Inquisitors just what is at stake and that an inquisitor should do anything but resort to daemonic powers to complete a mission.
"The weak will always be led by the strong. Where the strong see purpose and act, the weak follow; where the strong cry out against fate, the weak bow their heads and succumb. There are many who are weak; and many are their temptations. Despise the weak for they shall flock to the call of the Daemon and the Renegade. Pity them not and scorn their cries of innocence - it is better that one hundred innocently fall before the wrath of the Emperor than one kneels before the Daemon."
With the litany done Perifidus busies himself. He must prepare his soul to be cleansed so that should he be forced to walk in the warp, the Emperor would walk with him. He lights the incense and settles into a meditative pose before the shrine to the Emperor in his quarters. He clears his mind of everything and proceeds to recite litany after litany for the next hour.

As Lazarus entered the pod hanger he sighed contentedly at the sight of the great machines that would carry them into battle. He walked over to the drop pod that was to be his and ran his hand over it. "May the Omnissiah grant you protection through this journey machine spirit of war." He turned toward the nearest techpriest. "Has the pod been loaded with all of the supplies we will need?" The tech priest bowed respectfully at him. "Yes mi'lord all of the ammunition is ready to go and your blessed weapon has been serviced and secured." Lazarus nodded in approval. "Good. I see the followers of the machine god here are diligent in their duties. Carry on." "Thank you mi'lord." the techpriest said as he shuffled off.
Lazarus could only watch as the master of the forge was disrespected after his gracious effort of assistance. As he walked toward the drop pod he took the device and bowed to the master of the forge. "Thank you for your help and assistance. Should you ever need our assistance in the future I am sure the Ice serpents would be honored to oblige. We do not forget those who aid us."
Lazarus boarded the drop pod and sat in his seat. this pod was different than others he had ridden in. He had been in the standard combat drop pod without seat, and even one of the old patterns with a rounded bottom.
"Inquisitor Samael what will be the plan when we reach the planet? Do we have any intelligence as to the conditions of the drop area?"

Perifidus stands up. His purification was done and it was about time to depart. As he exits his chamber he hears the telltale sounds of a space marine walking. He turns around to see Justicar Azmodeus looking at him.
"May I help you with something, Justicar?" Perifidus asks. "I am simply regarding the only living person in the hallway, Inquisitor. No need to be so jumpy." Azmodeus chuckles, "Been praying to the Emperor, Inquisitor?" Perifidus bristles, "If you must know, yes. I must prepare myself for a passage through the warp should it come to that." "What need have you to prepare yourself?" Azmodeus asks, "Haven't you been soul bound? Have you not the protection of the Emperor himself?" "Do I not possess all of my mental faculties?" Perifidus snaps, "Do you believe that I would be fit to go on this mission had I been soulbound?" "Perhaps not, still, wouldn't it be easier to accept a piece Emperor into yourself. To not have to worry about attracting warpspawn whenever you preform your arcane rituals?" Perifidus sighs, "Sometimes I think so, but then another part of me thinks that this is what the Emperor wants me to do. Why I was picked by Inquisitor Ferronus to be his pupil rather than being sent to the astropathy school. Regardless, I would prefer time to contemplate as I walk to the pods, if you would oblige me." Azmodeus chuckles wryly, "Of course, Inquisitor Perifidus, thy will be done."
The two set off for the pods in silence. Once there they step up to their pod, they sit down and strap in.

Samael looked calmly at Lazarus before he, with a small grin, answered "We have no information at all as it is now. The only thing we know is that the enemy seems to be able to teleport which is why I have been reading this." At this point Samael waved with his data slate before continuing "The first thing we are to do when we come down is establish a secure area, after that we will begin the hunt."

ooc- DAMNATIONS! My Laptop got fried a while back and i've only just been able to get onto the library computers to respond. Assume my characters have been working with you up to now, and are standing pretty much side by side and such.
Ic- Wrenn and Kael were waiting by the Drop pod. They had no paticular possessions to worry for, and no Reason to wander. Wrenn felt uncomfortable standing still. He wanted to Lay intro the enemy, to slay them in the Emperors name.
Kael looked round to Wrenn. ''You look Uncomfortable, Justicar. Something the matter?'' Wrenn shok his head. ''No my Lord Inquisitor. Merely Impatient. I have no fondness for waiting, especially when the enemy are moving. I feel it in my heart that we may be too late to stop everything already.'' Kael raised an eyebrow. ''Oh really? You feel it in your heart do you? Which one, Space marine?'' Wrenn chuckled. ''Both My lord.'' Kael smiled too, and nodded darkly. ''I trut your Judgement, Daemonhunter. I know not enough about the Forces of Chaos. If that is indeed wht we are up against. If it is Xenos, i may have a much easier time of it.'' Wrenn nodded now, nderstandingly. ''If it is nought but Xenos, My talents will be wasted, though not my time. The Daemonic threat is the most important.'' Kael shook his head. ''Wasted? Not Wasted Justicar. Fighting in the emperors name is never wasted, be it talent, time or both. Never forget that. And soon, you'll earn your place in the squad you wish for. Is it not a Purgation Squad you waant to Join/ Have you any experience with heavy weapons?''
Wrenn nodded, and began explaining about his breif time with a psycannon in hand, laughing as he retold the story of his victory over a score of Bloodletters as he helfd the line in his Tactical Squad.
OOC- (Hopefully thats an ok 1st post)

(Yes great first.)
As everyone is standing around it is realized that a few of the team are still missing. A techmarine steps forward finishing the final adjustment on the pods inertion gyroscope before stepping towards an intercome. "All Inquisitional members to the launch bay. Departure in 5 minutes." His scratchy, mechanical voice says resonating to the very depths of the ship.
{Deep in the ship, unaware to all(But a good adition to add some suspense as to what I am putting you up against)} In the cargo bay a lone guardsmen, his cigarette stuck between his lips, hides between the large crates. His only safe haven aboard the entire vessel, but he is always covered by the ominess feeling he is not alone, as if he is being watched by some unseen force. A scratch comes from behind him, "What was that? Who's there?" He mummurs before resigning to the fact maybe he is just crazy. Another and another, all around him the sound comes, as if from every oriface of the ship. He goes to flee the ship but is stopped, a scream does not escape his lungs as he is dragged deep into the ship before vanishing completely as if he was never there. The only remnates are a smoldering cigarette but and a microtear in the warp.

Perfidius looks around, realizing this his commanding officer wasn't present. He was strapped into his drop pod, sitting next to Justicar Azmodeus, and was engrossed in a treatise on a radical theory that suggested the Eldar actually created a Chaos God, a ridiculous notion but a good inquisitor acquires all information possible.
"I do hope Inquisitor Katarina comes quickly, she and her shadow would be sorely missed in this mission should she not make it." Perifidus remarks to Justicar Azmodeus.
Azmodeus grunts, "Either she is like most Inquisitors I know, m'lord, and makes it or the Emperor does not wish that she makes it. Either way we are better off. Go back to your book or join me in my prayers, worrying helps no one." Perifidius sighs, "Perhaps you are right, Justicar, perhaps you are right. This book is drivel, interesting but lacks a factual basis, though with the amount of information we have on Eldar history it could very well be true. I believe I will join you in your prayers. The Emperor surely looks well upon one so devote as you." "Perhaps, Inquisitor. It is the duty of the Grey Knights to preform His Will and have, to a man, pure enough souls to be present at the final battle. We are His angels of death. Prayer cleanses the soul and opens the connection to the Emperor to ensure that He will channel his will through you."

Xero's turns to the fellow members of his pod. The Justicar, and the Inquisitor were deep in prayer. He gazes around the launch bay, making mental notes of each figure in the room. Several Techmarines, busy working and directing servitors. Threat level, miniscule. Master of the Forge, walking away from a dicussion with a Brother Adeptus. Threat level, average. Brother....Lazarus, currently talking to one of the lead Inquisitors. Threat level...substansial.
Xero's glances at the Brother Adeptus and gets his HUD to do a wargear breakdown. Ok, so there is a Bolter, ammunition...hellfire rounds. Heavy Bolter with a chain bayonet attachment, hardly efficient...probably just for show...
The Purifier then reaches towards the mind of the Brother, using his psycic power, to see if he is devoted to the Emperor, without fail. As Xero's reached forward he was struck with a striking pain in his forhead, also failing to even extend far out of his own mind...it...it was clouded, somehing had prevented him...reaching out to a servitor's mind, he encounted the same mist of the mind, only to be struck with another stab of pain.
"Warning frontal lobe pressure increasing, activation of built in seditaves initiated." A small sceen alerted on the HUD seconds before Xero's was flooded by a cool sense of calm. Something was out of place, and by the Emperor I will find out what.

Kael Enteres the Drop pod. He looks around. ''A fine collection of Humanity greatest Soldiers. Interesting. If i were one of the enemy, I would make this pod a target with a priority higher than we have a word for. I suggest Everyone keeps their hands on their Blade-handles. If there is a traitor aboard, this is the idea place to make his... or Even her, Move.'' He sits down, Glancing around. His eyes fell on Xero, who was Doing Something Psychic. ''Justicar Wrenn. What is that man doing?''
Wrenn, who had enered the pod behind Kael, looked over to Xero. ''It would appear he is trying to scan our minds, with great difficulty. Though wether or not he can even pirce our Aegis is beyond me. You mortal Men, No offense intended, are more suspectible, but he doesent seem to be going anywhere with it.'' He twitched, unnoticably. ''Prehaps there is some other disturbance around.''

(sorry guys I was at work all day)
The Shadow and the Mistress spoken of seem to appear;Katarina checking her belt where many glittering blades bounce the low light around the pod. To contrast this Kaaza seems to be admiring a rather sharp jagged blade as he enters the pod.
She smiles at them all, "I have considered your suggestion for formation and it is agreed with an amendment. That when the fighting starts..you fight, dont protect me. It is silly to have you fighting for my life when if you are focused on the fight at hand you will gain victory and I am more likely to survive." She smiles as if it is agreed although Kaaza seems to glower at the thought.
She sits slowly folding one leg over the other as Kaaza takes the seat across from her. She smiles at the gathered, "Another thing, we all have things to return to." she smiles lightly, "It is not to the death, but to life." Kaaza seems to grow darker at this and seems to scooch away from her at this.

Perifidus, started. He felt an intrusive tendril of psychic energy flowing out. "Purifier Xeros! Stop that at once," Perifidus snaps, "All of the men and women present here today have been verified by the most adept pyskers and would catch any unknown trace of Chaos. Your actions will only prove to incite distrust amongst each other. I know purifiers will root out any trace of corruption but heed me. Ordo Malleus and Ordo Xenos are in joint command of this venture and I suggest you adhere to the structure of command. I, much like you, will stamp down any trace of Chaos that I find but this is no way to go about it." Perifidus turns to Katarina, "Mistress, it is not life that I would return to but further service to the Emperor. My duty to Him will not be done until I utter my final breath and my soul is consumed by Him."

As the final persons of the team enter the drop pods the Master of the Forge approaches. "Lady Inquisitrix...take this." He says handing her the small remote. No one else in the group had claimed it so he put it upon himself to see someone had it. "Top is evac, bottom is assistance." He says in his mechanical voice before pressing a button and sealing both pods shut.
Val, had a seemingly irrational fear of tight spaces and closed his eyes entering a deep meditation taught to him by an Assualt Squad who knew fear in the face of an enemy was death.
The pods shook as the launch bay doors opened and teh pods were dropped into the atmosphere. Turbulance was unfelt in the pod but the techmarines watched safely from there perch as the pods rattled violently on their descent to the planet below.
As the pods landed and the doors swung open it revealed a clearing, small but big enough to hold the pods, the teams, and the remains of a chimera. A soft beeping came from the inside, and a dim glow from inside the black vehicle.
Atrail blazed south and one east, each looked the same but the tank was pointed to the north as if something had attacked from that direction.
