Hello fellow Hivers!
For long this board have been silent as the grave, but it shall be no more! And what better way could their possibly be to do that, than making a friendly competition
We will be playing in Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.
Anyway... Before we begin any Tournament... We'll need to make sure that any will join.
Remember: You do NOT need to be a member of The Tyranid Hive Clan.
So if you would like to anticipate, then write
- Join: (Difficulty)
There is three Difficulties.
- Starter.
- Experienced.
- Hardcore.
Just pick the difficulty that you think you belong in and you will be playing against others that consider themselves as starters.
The Tournament will hopefully start around the start of august if we have got enough joined to start.
If we get enough, I’ll make sure to PM the Participants the precise date we start.
Make sure that you have downloaded the Online patch if you have not already, before we begin. (It should begin automaticly if you haven't played online before and will go into the Online Section. If it won't downloade or just show (100%) and won't give you access to the Online lobby, then go out of the game. Left click on the shortcut Icon, and run as Admin. When you get into the game you can now try over and it should begin to dowloade. If won't work either, feel free to ask here, and I'm sure some might have experienced the same and might able to help you.)

Rules
We will be Playing 6 Games of annihilation each.
Each game must be saved as a replay. The winner of the game must then copy the replay (I’ll tell you how to do this later) and send it to dowdctournamenttth@gmail.com
The Replays will then Be Uploaded to Youtube and posted here on the Tyranid Hive for everyone to Enjoy and discuss. (This is after all a Forum and we love to discuss everything
)
Important rule
- Don’t swear at your opponent or call your opponent bad things. It is a friendly competition, keep that in mind. Have fun!
at the start of each week, I’ll announce who is going to play against who (By random select). You will then have until the end of that week to both arrange what day of that week you will be playing, and to get the game done.
For each game won, you will earn 10 point.
I will also make a leader board here, so you can keep track with your and others score.
The price
The best three players will then be rewarded a Badge for their Signature for having won (1st-3rd)in the Dark Crusade Tournament 2011 and what difficulty they played in.
