Some old comics

A lot of the new peoples are wondering about the old comics thread... so I decided to post "The Directors Cut" of my own contribution.

I've tried to dodge out on the ones that ran on personal in-jokes... remember they're coming from a bit over a year ago or whatever, and forums age in dog years. Not all will be "got", even if they were funny way back when. All were in good spirit.

Now, starting with the first comic ever... and then continuing on until the final Dangeresque-brand groupshot (with all the members names listed below it) I present to you my comics.









This one runs off a now obscure in-joke... but I think it's worth putting in.


This one too... at the time, because of the really quick and effortless style of the comics people were having trouble figuring out who was supposed to be who. This one lampooned it, or so I thought. Most people were just like "Why is Aux a toaster?".












This one highlighted the fact that request comics were very frequent. While I was happy to do them... EVERYONE wanted a little deformed stickman version of themselves. EVERYONE. And if that was bad for me... I can't imagine what it was like for Alice!










This next one was part of a post I made in the community thread during one of the many debates. It said "Why can't the rest of you express your innermost thoughts with MS paint like I do?"


All I have to say about this one is...

"Good times"






Heh, I forgot about this one. Sums up what I thought pretty well. No wonder I became Arch-Heretic.





And finally, we come to my magnum opus. As Alice amassed a gradual groupshot of everyone... I did this.

I suppose the whole point of the group shot was to have one comic with effort in it and comment that I thought we were all hangers on to the bottom of the Hive. Hense why most of the Mod crew is drawn even through more than half of them never frequented General.

Anyway... yeah. Hope they're all you were expecting, and that the humour isn't too obscure/dated.

Here's one for the My Space game in the gameboard. And well, that game is still alive.


If I recall correctly this is about the quite extensive rants that were frequently posted, or something. My memory isn't very well known for being consistent.


And because I was so awesome at using paint at the time. (I still am)










This one was when the codex was still due to come out, and the devourer for Carnifex and Tyrants was actually referred to as 'MC devourer'.




I of course have to post this one, even if I did in that other thread. If you ask me the message stays true even now.
