Hello all,
Starting up a new RP based in Sengoku/Edo era Japan, situated on the north of the Honshu Island with maybe a small foray into Hokkaido.
Write a character description in the following style:
Name: Kazema Daiki (Last name First Name)
Nationality: Japanese (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Ainu (Hokkaido Native), Portugese, Dutch, English, Colonists/Americans, Native American, Hawaiian Islanders [Only 3 of any of these in the entire story]
Religion: Zen Buddhist & Shinto (Can choose from Zen Buddhist, Buddhist, Christian (Catholic/Protestant), Hawaiian/Ainu/Native American Beliefs,Shinto (can be shinto as well as one other religion))
Age: 45
Weapon(s): 2 Katanas (by 2 different famous swordsmiths), a wakizashi (made by a budding swordsmith, a very fine edge), a reflex composite bow, a bo disguised as a walking stick (6ft staff), and 2 tambo up his sleeves. (these weapons may vary throughout the game as you lose or gain weapons [this applies to all of you, you may lose or gain weapons, so all this isn't stone])
Armor: Various depending on where he is going and what he is doing. Prefers to wear just a kimono and light bamboo armour.
Caste/Job/Group: Daimyo (head of Ma clan), Samurai
Skills: All to a high level: Calligraphy, Statemanship, Swimming, Drawing, Kobudo (Staff Skills), Kendo (Sword Skills), Kyudo (Bow skills), Mathmatics. Lesser skills: Hand to Hand combat (taught by his grandfather who was a master), Agility, [other basic skills for a daimyo will come to me later] (demolitions, idk what else, but if I find something over powered or not needed to needed too much I will tell you to get rid of it (same with weapons))
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 94kg
About/Bio: From a very prestigious samurai clan that has hereiditarily owned the Niigata province (northwest) that has run on hard times. The clan has been attacked by the daimyo who owns the Tochigi province.
I need to head off so I will finish off the intro later.
Basically the Kazema family and land is under attack by an enemy from the south as well as rebels in Hokkaido or on the north tip of Honshu.
The daimyo is creating an elite band of people. Need to work on this bit. Just have the general idea at the moment.
Will edit this as I carry on.

Ninja weapons I have some photos of all the weapons that ninjas used (I went to a ninja clan's museum in japan last summer). So if you want I can get the photo uploaded and send it to you if you want to be a ninja and don't have an idea on the real weapons.
