The Calling

Saphi moves through the town at an easy pace her feet carrying her forward each step perfect as though she has practiced walking in time. Like a politician or musician keeping time she moves. Her eyes are fixed on the data read out before her. It took her a long night of brandy and coffee to dig out a map and actually consider all the places that could be collapsed safely. She looks at the read out still not pleased with her plan. A mug of cofee is in her hand and a bottle of wine is in her bag. Her long hair is frazzeled with no bathing and a night spent running her hands through it. Her foot crunches into the ground as she nears the mine still drinking coffee and reading.

She glances up to see the others waiting for her impatiently and still she doesn't hurry taking her time to sip the last s of her coffee and look over her weapons and some extra gear for within the mine. SHe can see the annoyance written on their faces even from her spot a mile off and she grins to herself as she tosses the mug away and it cracks against a rock shattering. She then removes her goggles from her head and quickly programs the map into them along with her plans and some other useful things. She finally reaches them and stops smiling daring them to call her on being late. "Well glad to see you all showed up." she nods her finger on her eyebrow as a sign of hello, "Lets get this party started while I am on my coffee high." she grins one last time as they enter the mine.

Esiphas looks atthe ruins of the shack. 'Arjent, post-destruction sweep. Go.' Arjent nodded and said 'Aye milord', before moving off to invesigate the ruins. His storm sheild raised to cover him. Finding the form of the vindicare assassin, he drew his blade. A loud roar issued from it, but Arjent tightened hs grip and the growling died. Then he decapitated the vindicare, killing him. 'Threat Neutrilised.' he muttered.

(Sorry I already told Genesis no so I can't be picky and let you join. Ignore the assassin and continue with what Jaka started. I worked out a storyline days ago while sitting in class.)

Dominic pulled a mounted light from the saddle bag on Skrill and stuck it on the gun mount.

"Okay we have two choices when we get in here. A path branches west and a path branches east, they have paths of their own but meet in the first chamber. We can split up or go the same route." Dominic said picking up the auto-cannon from the ground.

[Esiphas]

(O...K... why cant people join? they could easily have been late arivals.)

Esiphas looked to the others in his team, who shrugged. 'I think' he began, we would be better splitting into two teams. Saphi, Dominic, Skrill and Koh'rass, you take the right. We will take the left.'

(They wanted to kill off our people and it didn't fit the story line. I will be starting another RP and informing them so they can join that one though.)

"Ok, lets get this party started!" He said as he slammed his two huge dreadnought fists together.

The entire group proceeded into the mines. Skrill lead the group with Dom by his side, shadows flitted about causing the wolf to look back and forth and sniff randomly. Dominic did not know what to expect as they rounded a bend and Skrill began barking and snarling.

A tall thin figure was darting ahead of them, away from the lights. Several long deep scratches could be seen carved into the walls. A skull sat against the wall it was wet with a thick black slime. As if it had just been licked clean.

[Esiphas]

Esiphas was unaware of the things prescence. He had gone down the other tunnel, so could not see the beast. A signal came through on his transiever. Vermillion level. 'Boys, we have a high priority heretic hunting to do. so this little venture will have to be left in the capable hands of Saphi, Dominic and the others.' He turned and sprinted back up the tunnel.

Back in the main chamber, the madman grinned. He couldn't help it. He just couldn't stop. despite the fact his friends were all dead.

Equipment: Medikit, machine pistol, Lightning (psychic power).
Armour:A falmeproof Lab coat, in addition to a grey stitched up jumper and black trousers. These clothes are a special material- it is actually highly difficult to break.
Transport (if any): None.
Bio: Fraeken was the medic for the mineing project, and lost part of his mind when he saw his men die. He still retains enough sanity to use his medikit, and he carrys a psykers license- a tradition of his homeworld.

"Well, not a single thing in my medical kit could save that guy." Koh'rass said pointing at the skull.

Enial:

He walked along a fair way behind the main group checking his data map to see where the main chamber was, he turned to the right and walked straight into it, and saw what looked like a scientist but he was smiling and was holding a very wicked looking pistol.
"who are you and what are you doing here?" Asked Enial standing up to his full hight and reading his flamers.
