A Thread For The One Thing We All Love

Hello.

I'd like to dedicate this thread to the one thing in life that has always proven to be accepted among others, the one thing that despite all odds can bring anyone together.
I'd like to declare this thread as a testament to just how important these things are to our race as a whole, how needed they truly are.

Yet these things are usually taken for granted, thought to always be there should you need one. But sadly, this is not the case, and not many will come to realise this.
This is why I am dedicating this thread to this cause, so everyone will know and realise their importance.

We live in a material world, with materialistic needs. Anything of any value, no matter how untouchable is in the end still material. What does this mean? First, it means that indeed, you cannot always have what you need even in the most dire situation and secondly, you must enjoy everything for as long as it lasts.

I dedicate this thread to this cause, a mention for something everyone loves, desires and takes for granted.
I dedicate this thread to all of you, in this community, so that you may see the truth, for trying to reach out to the whole world is only what a fool would do.
I dedicate this thread, my fellow forumers, to the one thing I dare say keeps all of humanity together. No matter if you're homosexual, if you're into animals or even enjoys licking muddy tires, we all share this love.

This thread is a dedication to the beautiful miracle that is chocolate chip cookies.

I have always been rather partial to chocolate chip cookies with almonds.

I actually am more of just a cookie lover in general.

The only kind I really dislike is anything lemon flavored or anything with mint.

I second the bakeries ones, too. I do also a have a sweet spot for something called Orange Flakes.

I'm a Professional Baker. I currently work at a place that does almost exclusively cookies. We've got over 30 varieties in regular supply, and have tried dozens more. Add in other places I've worked and home baking, and I've probably tried a couple hundred different kinds of cookies over the years.

And for all that, my favorite are the Toll House Cookies off the back of the Nestle Chocolate Chips package. That recipe is just rock solid. I tweak it a little to make 'em crispier, because that's how I and my family like them, but the basic recipe makes a chewy cookie that's hard to beat.

Any-who.. after that disappointment... I have to say I really don't eat sweets of any kind... (well I do, but it a rare day)

This zombie plague has lasted too long. I think the cure lies in cookies...of which I had none during this period.

I Actually Mushed two types of cookie recipes together and added my own spin on them (cause I cook in my spare time)

And came up with a cookie that only has 1 flavor.. "Love"

I plan on making about 200 on valentines day and give them to a bunch of girls at my school with the catch phrase "every girl deserves to feel loved" But seriously.. best damn cookies ever.

Hazelnut fudge cookies, the kind that takes half a day to bake.
