I saw it today and I feel that is was like a hit&miss. The animation dosen't look that great it feels more like cutscene from a game and i was expecting something better.
The voice acting is good but i think they should sound more like the marines in dawn of war when they have their helmets on it just sounds more intimidating and badass.
The action scenes was kinda cool but the rest of the movies felt like they didn't do anything other than walking with just 1-2 sentences between two characters and it got kinda boring.
The plot wasn't that exciting and the end seemed rushed and I didn't get that the battle hardened captain didn't get that it was chaos when he sa a imperial fist marine being nailed to a wall with a chaos symbol being painted with the marines blood.
And shouldn't the warhammer as they called be called a thunder hammer?
but they got alot of the fluff right and they felt like space marines even thouht they seemed a bit to much like the rookie moive character for having served as a scout marine before they got their power armor. And couldn't they added a dreadnought or something would have been awesome.
i think i would give it a 5-6/10 it just wasn't made that great and it wasn't the baddas space marine movie i had pictured from reading the fluff but it was still very cool with a space marine movie. I have to say that I am no space marine expert i just go about the fluff i've heard read in the codexes
But i still get more pumped to paint and play my ultramarines by looking on the intro movie for dawn of war 2 than this movie. But I'm gonna watch it again read some rewievs of it.
