Hey Hive, I just wanted to post the Inquisition list I'm using in a game tomorrow, probably against orks or Chaos. (I'm also writing my strategy in parenthesis because I like to explain my line of thinking)
Canoness
Jump Pack, Mantle and Cloak, Blessed weapon, Master-Crafted Inferno Pistol (I normally don't master-craft it, but I figure that since I am maybe getting 3-4 shots off per game, even though I am hitting on twos Missing one really sucks)
Grey Knight Grand Master
Master-Crafted NFW, Psycannon, Hammerhand, Targeter
(Hammerhand is for Ideathing Heroes and MEQs, and maybe for punching dreadnoughts and tanks to death. I'm kind of winging it here.)
5 Terminators, with Psycannon, the Brother-Captain has a Master-Crafted NFW. (Pretty straightforward, I add the grand master here to make it 6, because its fluffy. They teleport in near the Grey Knights.)
10 Grey Knights, two Incinerators, Teleport Homer. (Also pretty straightforward, they stand near the back, taking any flankers, or charging out to rip apart anything that hasn't died to the firepower yet.)
10 Battle Sisters, Heavy Flamer, in a rhino with extra armor, pintle mounted storm bolter (total of two now), Blessed ammunition (Ignores cover saves).
Duplicate Squad as above, does the same thing. Can you tell I like flamers a lot?
5 Seraphim, two twin hand flamers, Power weapon bolt pistol on the Veteran (the Canoness goes in here, some people think this is HERESY but since they are still smaller than 7 and have a simulacrum imperialis, its still not that hard to succeed on a Acts of Faith Roll)
6 Retributors, 4 Heavy Bolters, Combi-flamer (anti-charge deterrant, since there are only 6 of them, the flamer might cut them down to a more manageable size), Mounted in Immolator, with Blessed Promethium, Dozer Blade, Extra Armor. (the idea is that the immolator drops off the girls near some cover, then goes off on a rampage of infantry distruction)
Exorcist
Extra Armor, Hunter-Killer Missile, Smoke Launchers (this does pretty much what you expect, sits in back and kills tanks and mosnterous creatures deader than disco. Hunter-Killer Missile might seem overkill, but if I roll badly on an attack number roll I still want to put out some firepower.)
The basic plan is to send the rhinos and immolator forward, with the Grey Knights chugging along behind, keeping out a flank attack on the poor back armor of the tanks, and the Canoness troubleshooting anything that doesn't seem to want to die to my exorcists. The Grey knights will summon the terminators to slice & dice whatever I failed to kill earlier.
The rhinos and immolator drop off the girls halfway across, to spray a withering hail of firepower (literally, in the heavy flamer's case) and use my six Faith Points as panic buttons or for the ever-fun 2+ invulnerable save. All exactly 2000 points.
