I am trying to come up with a name for a recently created chapter I have come up with. Comments welcome! Fluff as follows.
10,000 years ago after Lion El'Johnson embarked on his crusade at the Emperor's side, many of the Dark Angels were swayed to Chaos. Once the Lion returned to Caliban, he found his world in disarray. He vowed to kill all of the traitors and bury this secret deep in the legions secrets. As we all know, he failed at this task. Many of the Fallen escaped and the Dark Angels now call themselves, the Unforgiven. However, fewer know that the Lion did not kill all of the Fallen who did not flee. He gave them one chance to repent for their sins and to redeem themselves in the eyes of the Emperor. Most did not accept his offer and chose to fight to a last stand but some did choose repentace over certain death. After the last of the Fallen were destroyed and Caliban was annialated, those who repented were given a task to redeem themselves. Lion El'Johnson had them go on a penitent crusade to be the Dark Angels once more. He told them that he would give them the mantle of the Unforgiven after they had proven that they were completly detached from the lures of Chaos. They departed immedietly after he told them this and fought the enemies of the Imperium for over three centuies. They would desend upon the target world with a fury of unknown ferocity. System after system fell before the might of these warriors while the Dark Angels defended the remenants of the Imperium in the wake of the Emperor's death. As the Lion heard of his lost childrens victories, he smiled to himself and fineally decided to grant them the title of the Dark Angels. Sadly, before the Lion could tell them they were forgiven, he dissapered from known space. After his dissaperance, the Repentant decided that they would continue their crusade of repentance. They would continue their crusade, a crusade that has continued unbroken for 10,000 years.

Drawbacks: Eye to Eye and Have Pride in your Colors
Color Scheme: Black with gold shoulder pad trims and weapons
