As they step out of the ship Kali takes off moving for the nearest tree. It takes a few moments for her to be comfortable on one of the branches. She lines a shot up on a ork headed the groups way and then BAM! she pulls her trigger and the Ork falls dead before his head hits the ground. That's when all hell breaks loose and the orks issue a mighty scream and begin to charge Ken, Ravenous, and Tun. Kali begins to pick off they insane chargers as they advance upon the ground force. A battle cry is issued from Kali her voice sounds like a blistering wind ," FOR THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE US! AND FOR THOSE WHO WILL COME!"

ken dodged seeing these were the snake bites he didn't need to worry about a real fight so he swerved to the left and sliced with his lance at the green skins and picks a few off with his bolter blocking a crude axe with his lance he kicked a ork to move it back and then fired a few rounds in its face. "take that you green skin." ken said

Ravenous fired silently, with the action in front of him the threat of a fight close to him was low. His heavy bolter fired off repeatedly and in a steady motion, laying waste to the dense jungle and orks hiding in them. The heavy beat of the gun matched his own double heart beat as his accuracy improved much from the regular spray of a heavy bolter. The ammo counter on the gun told him he was 3/4 full on his gun ad that reloading would be in a long while. He had downed 15 ork boyz in his firing spree. As he kept firing he became more aware of his surroundings, large round leaves big enough to hide a marines bike. trees that were tall enough to give a warhound half cover. The roots on the jungle floor were actually moving around the dead bodies, taking in the orks for quicker decomposition. As long as Ravenous wasn't one of them, he was fine, so he kept on firing...

The group headed away from the ship as orks who had followed the path of the craft found them but still kept together in a rough semi-circle formation. Ravenous' heavy bolter constantly chugging out hellfire shells. As snakebite boyz burst from the dense jungle foliage, the oversized bullets tore them to pieces. Tunrael readied his bolt pistol, shooting a few of the orks, but most of the time randomly pointing at bits of greenery in case a greenskin was going to advance from the spot. the shots from ken's bolter shattered skulls and ricochetted off armour in equal measure and his lance dealt killing blows by the dozen. Kali was outwardly calm in the face of the tusk faced xenos (but that was understandable, all the IM had encountered them both as allies and enemies at one time or another) She ripped and rended through the bestial numbskulls, her lightning claws were blades of pure rage. Tun thought for a second - we had been called in to fend them off but the transmission had been anonymous, was this perhaps a set up? - his thoughts were interrupted swiftly by an ork kommando leaping out from behind him and landing only two feet away. Tunrael was shocked and stumbled forward before whipping round to look at the Ork's face. In the second before it raised it's jagged axe and jumped towards him he studied it. The greenskin had a dark green face, possibly altered by warpaint and a crude imitation of imperial guard camouflage (however crude, it worked), it's hide appeared thick and leathery with deep separations between muscle bulk. Veins protruded about the temples and on parts of the arms. It's eyes small and dark red, with piercing yellow pupils. The face was mangled, signs of previous battle wounds badly healed by the clan's dok, a primitive medic. It's contours were strong and blocky but also twisted and wrong where the deep scars were. This marked him out as a veteran, along with the thick steel shoulderpads embossed with a simple scar design and the other being that of a guardsman commander of the valhallan regiment with the aquila symbol crossed out. These were covered in hastily made camo-netting either manufactured in a grot slave factory or stolen from a regiment of guard such as the catachans or Hlulani. The beast had large tusk-like teeth protruding from its large lower jaw, these were yellowed and cracked and faintly bloodstained, Tun noted a possible cannibalistic nature or maybe that these orks devour the corpses of their enemies after a battle. Around it's belt, severed heads dangled on hooked chains. Tun snapped out of the brief moment of contemplation and analysis and realised he was going to have to fight it. The Kommando gripped hard on it's serrated weapon's hilt bound in leather, with a jerk of it's muscle mass it flung itself through the air slicing at the assassin with the huge cleaver-axe it held. a few of the strokes hit his now rigid armour pads. He quickly came up to speed and dodged some of the blows. he skidded to the side and shot a few rounds of his bolt pistol at it's eyes. Raark-kchun-pkhooswtzh the bullets left the gun muzzle at high speed, the ork couldn't move quickly enough to avoid many of them. one came into contact with it's jaw and it's diamond tip cut through the flesh with ease spinning as it went the bullet exploded outwards with the small amount of chemical fuel inside. The ork's jaw was pulled to the side by the blast and Tun heard the agonising crack and sklurrp of bone and flesh being twisted and snapped. after the initial burst of explosive, blood poured from the ruined lower jaw of the beast. one of it's large teeth was in charred chunks on the ground. This had stopped the ork for a second and distracted him from the other bolt that was about to explode in his side pushing him the other way and sending crisp ork hide and dark blood cascading across the forest floor. the others he fired chinked off armour plates or missed entirely, after all he was not a combat assassin but he felt elated by this experience. The ork steadied himself and spun around to face tun again, firing a bulky scrap pistol. The ork was a bit less accurate seeing as he had just had his jaw blown apart. bullets hit the tree roots around tun as he rose to his feet as quick as possi- "ghaaaghshghtha!" he felt a bullet penetrate the skin just below the right shoulder. he twisted to the side and the shot ripped through flesh and out of the other side, luckily not too deep. he reached for the wound and seeing weakness the ork chopped at him with his axe. Seething with anger, Tun pulled his power weapon from it's sheath and activated it with the power glyph on the hilt. The blade flickered to life, crackling with blue energy. He looked at it for a second then started to stab and slash at the ork, badly parrying his blows but managed to put him off his guard enough to stab deep into his chest. The blood sizzled as the blade stabbed straight through armour and and skin and flesh and muscle and bone and finally the heart. The kommando let out a deep cry of feral pain and tried to strike a blow with it's green fist. This was quickly stopped when the heart did. The body lay on the ground, motionless and bloodsoaked. Tunrael has struck it in the optimum location even if that location was armoured, that sort of thing matters not to a power weapon. Tun stood their and panted. slowly the background noise phased back in over the sound of his throbbing heartbeats. ork blood dripped from his weapon and smoke from the end of his pistol. he closed his eyes and opened them again, to see the scavenging, carnivorous plant roots eating the ork corpse and pulling under the soil, leaving only a stain. "Vanus!" called Ravenous "we are heading this way, we have killed off this wave of orks but there are sure to be more, we are heading towards their camp to gain an advantage." Tun turned to follow them, still wary of every bush he passed.

Kali turns and watches the brutal display of killing power by Tun and is stunned. She knew he was a IM, but even that was brutal. She is so stunned that the enemy she was about to dispatch manages to crawl away from her before she turns shooting him in the head as he flees. Then she turns back and realizes the group has left. *alone again.* she thinks. She turns deciding that they must be headed south. The she hears a branch snap. She turns just in time to catch a ork blade with her claw. A large nob has lunged out of the dense jungle at her. This Ork doesn't below like a beast only attacks swiftly. She dodges backwards and regains her compsure. She grins hatefully at the Ork and whispers, " Your dead green monster." that is before the second one leaps out at her. She puts up a admirable fight. Just as she is about to cry out for help the ork lands a mighty blow on her. His fist slams into her forhead. As blood blurs her vision and she begins to fade. She feels the vines lick at her. SHe wants to scream but her head hurts too much. As the blood enters her eyes all she can think is *oh good*. Then the ork brutally continues beating her for awhile until there is no chance of her waking up anytime soon.
*a time later*
Ken and the rest stand at their meeting point waiting but no sign of Kali emerges. As night falls it becomes obvious she is either lost or dead.
*jumping over to Kali*
Kali breaths in awaking to a odd boop sound. She attempts to move and finds herself restained. Her eyes feel crusty with dried blood. The surface below her is cold and metallic. She turns her head as much as possible and looks at some machines that appear to be sustaining her "how?" She can't read the machines at all. They don't look Imperial to her but then her vision is so blurred. "Ravenous!" she rasps hoping this is a joke or that they won and she wasn't there. She turns her head back staring at the ceiling feeling how obsolete she is. Then a voice calls out ," Kali Kali the Ghost Morovion." She turns her eyes unable to make the figure out.

crack
crunch
thud.
"Ow."
Bloodfire pulled himself to his feet after the somewhat undignified entrance through the roof. He looked around. The map displayed in his sensorium had a flashing point to the west, and the sensorium also highlighted a path down the real western corridor (ooc: read Nemesis for a more detailed description of what Eversors see). He came to a doorway, marked as a 'checkpoint' on his view of reality overlaid with computerized images. He reached out and started to peel the plasteel door off its hinges, the servos in the frame moaning as they were torn apart. A loud CLANG and the door was off. Alarms blared. He passed the 'checkpoint' and an automatic reaction in his body trigerred the release of combat drugs in his system, enhancing his senses and fighting prowess.
As he ran across the large chamber, guards poured in from doors in the right wall. Bloodfire glared at them, and his terrifying skull-like visage stopped them in their tracks for a few seconds. He continued down the path he had set himself. The next checkpoint was another door. His objective was on the other side. This time, the force of his momentum was enough to send the door crashing to the floor. The guards got over their fear and opened fire, las-beams flickering across the room. Bloodfire was through the door before any of them could adjust for his blinding speed.
Inside was an unconscious human, searching his databanks Bloodfire found she was a mature female, hooked up to life-support machines and strapped to a metal table. He snapped the restraints with contemptuous ease, and hoisted her over his sholder. He began to run back the way he had come. The guards were bottlenecked in the doorway, and he took them by surprise, neuro-gauntlet carving bloody arcs through them and sending more stunned to the floor. Bloodfire leapt through the gap he had created, and sprinted for the door. As the guards started shooting, he shielded her with his body, the beams stinging as they impacted, and pulled out his pistol, returning fire. Bolt rounds exploded among the enemy ranks, and before they recovered, he was out the room, up the wall and out the roof, bounding off into the distance.
(that was kali btw, but who were those people? And they were human? (rhetorical questions))

ooc(whoever is setting the IM up. Who knows, ask Terran Kali is too weak to open her eyes. The moment the clamps and life support are removed she finds her breathing becomes exceptionally hard and that pain begins to wash over her body. She isn't bored anymore, no indeed when sucking in a breathe is a full time chore one is very preoccupied. Then add in the sound of weapon fire and you have a circus on your hands. She isn't much of a ingrate, but her battered body feels awful. Then it hits her as he lands the impact of such causing her to gasp in improperly. It sends her into a terrible fit of coughs that bring up bits of blood and black goo everytime she breathes out. *excellent she thinks in a panicked sort of way. I obviously have busted my rib cage.* Finally she manages to stop coughing but is weakened by the ordeal. Her eyes open and close wearily and her stomach feels wet with what she can only imagine is blood from reopened wounds. Then it's hard to breate again. Tears form in her eyes from coughing so hard and when she finally rests her head on whoever's shoulder she is on her breathing is hard each breathe seems like it is her last and then another slight puff of air comes from her lips. Talking is hard but Bloodfire is almost certain he heard a weak thank you before she fades into unconciousness once again her bloodstained silver head resting upon his shoulder.

"perfect just perfect."he says slamming the aliens head into a wall of the small hab unit they found. "Ravenous cover the door if something moves and its not ours shoot it and when i mean ours i mean a iron monger." ken tells his heavy unit and sits down making the next move, a few times some IG walk by only to be gunned down by Ravenous thou he saw it wrong it was an order he soon would ask ken what was the point in killing humans if they are being hunted by orks. everything on this planet worked with some force wanting them dead he didnt know why

Bloodfire covered the distance back to the others in long, easy strides. The girl needed life support and soon. What was difficult would be not getting either of them killed. He neared Ravenous' position, after avoiding a patrol of Dark Eldar, and held Kali high to show the heavy Marine the situation. Ravenous let him past and he quickened his pace, reaching a Dark Eldar base. The two sentries leveled splinter rifles at him. So as not to create any noise, he dispatched each with a needle pistol round to the head. They slumped to the floor, and he ran past, meanwhile setting a new objective as the base's med-bay. He hid in the shadows, dispatching any approaching xenos with more poisoned needles. Slipping into the med-bay and garrotting the medic/torturer with a dangling power cable, Bloodfire threw the unconscious Ork off the 'operation table' and crushed its skull to ensure it would not cause any trouble. Then he lay the girl on it and rummaged through the cabinets, tearing open intricate and arcane lock systems and upending tables until he found the meds labelled 'Mon-Keigh' (the Dark Eldar do like to keep their playthings alive for as long as possible). He injected the drugs and fed her the tablets, then waited the prescripted half an hour. Occasionally another Druchii entered the room. They all joined the doctor hanging from the cieling. When she was able to stand, he led her out of the room. She was evidently not surprised by the bodies lining the floor. As he left the building, Bloodfire remembered the melta-bombs he had been dropping at regular intervals. He pressed the detonator. An inferno filled the space where the base had been, and they walked, her slowly recovering, back to the others. "Here you go." he said. Then, his attention from her vanished as she lost her objective status. "What do I do now?"

ooc*Kami, how owuld DE battle drugs help her? Those would increase heart rate tenfold, which in turn would increase breathing, which in turn for someone on life support, would probably kill them. She's supposed to be helpless right now. Are you certain of your post?)

(ah, fluff wise, he is actually correct. being as insane and insightful as i, the dark eldar do it right. They revel in torture and causing pain to their victims. now, bodies can only take so much pain before giving up and dying. a dead corpse isn't as fun as a wiggling live one. An escaped slave from commoragh described haemonculi torture as being bought to the very brink of death only to be bought back right to perfect health. Making you suffer longer as you were just pulled from the pain releasing grip of death. I R TEH Fluff mister.!!!!111!)
Ravenous saw the bright light of the eldar torture hut burning from the melta bombs. He was picking up his heavy bolter when this assassin showed up to him with Kali just recovering consciousness. Ravenous didn't care to ask who this assassin was, if it wasn't attacking him, Ravenous didn't care. "The dark eldar are here for a reason. The incubi back there all answered to me when i asked them politely of their intentions." Ravenous cracked and cleaned his knuckles with a smug look on his face. "They are stirring the orks up by using fear tactics and terrorizing hit and run tactics. Turns out there is a minor eldar craft world on its way in this planets orbit for some ancient artifact and the dark eldar want more eldar souls." Ravenous continued, reloading his gun. "So by stirring the orks into a wagh they could lure the eldar down and reap and relish in the slaughter... A clever guise if you ask me." With that Ravenous finished packing and began to walk off with his heavy bolter dangling in one hand, then he turned back and realized something. "oh and the incubi are a bit... incapacitated. They decided to hang around back there instead of take any more. Come on Kali..." Ravenous picked up the light woozy woman and placed her on his large backpack as a seat until she could walk again. she was practically weightless to him; as Ravenous walked away The assassin peered back into the area mentioned to hold the incubi. What was seen was a bloody mess. 3 dead incubi all broken bloodied and impaled on blunt tree trunks. Weapons piled up nicely under a krak grenade charge for when the orks find it.

ooc(I stand corrected then apologies.)
Kali looks weak despite the drugs involved. Although concious it's obvious the lights are on and nobodies home. When Ravenous adresses her she nods dreamily. She looks at her arm for a moment which her mind keeps saying is broken. She reaches out and touches her face gently expectign pain. Which she finds rather easily. "Bruises. How odd." She murmers slightly. Then she rests her head down as much as possible. The events of the past day or two blur together until she can't remember how she got into the state she was in. Her loss of any major wounds doesn't stop her body from aching. Her head is pounding from the drugs. She closes her eyes for a moment murmering facts that will help her concetrate. "Kali Morvion, Inquisitor Lady. Member of the almost deceased Iron Mongers. One of two known surviving female Iron Mongers. I dislike people becuase I don't enjoy pain or talking. I dislike xenos because they cause war." the list goes on slowly but each time she seems to be having a hardertiem calling up what she means to say.
