With the recent release of Red dead Redemption I thought it would be a good idea to make a wild west based roleplay. I will take the place of GM, controlling various 'NPCs', deciding who dies and when and choosing whether an action is pulled off or not. The roleplay is set in the wild west, two rival gangs are fighting regularly, slaughtering innocents and trying to gain control of a section of land called 'The golden stripe'. It is a long stretch of land which has lots of potential for gold mining, as this is set near the time of the gold rush. There are several outskirt towns and a single town belonging to one gang and another town belonging to the other.
The first gang, 'Harley Dogs' is a notorious gang, renowned for burning and stealing from many towns and ranches. They are residing in a town called 'Hellshamble' They burnt the town almost to the ground, the only building left standing is the prison, ironically, the gang now resides in the prison and steals it's supplies from other ranches and towns.
The second gang, 'Blue Snakes' is a feared gang, who possess a ranch that holds a railway station, although deatours have been made to avoid the ranch by trains, the trck and station is still used for quick supplying, they simply put a cart on the the rails and horses pull the cart along the rails until they reach the station. Thanks to this they are well armed and have enough supplies from raids to live on a ranch.
