DOW II Chaos Rising

Now I got myself Chaos Rising (corruption edition)two days ago and i was quite happy playing the game enjoying the campain just plodding along then I came to a mission in the game,

(spoiler alert those who have not played Chaos Rising or are not this far turn away now)

which involves you taking your squads to Aurelia to kill off Ulkir the Great Unclean One now here's my problem when I got to him and fight him I noticed a few things about him i did not expect

On normal mode

1: he is Lvl 29 and has about 9-10 million health
2: he can kill most units in a few hits with his Nugle blessed blade
3: his intestines can reach out and either horribly maim a unit or outright kill it, both which result in him regaining health
4: his health regenrates at a rate of about 1000 a sec
5: sometimes his health bar fills all the way up to max after getting him down to about 1.5-2.5 million health

Now this is not counting all the stuff you have to go through to get to him or the fact at certin invervals in when his health is at a certin point he either spawns 6 Plague Marines or three Chaos Dreads.

My problem is that i have searched far and wide over the net and nobody seems to have killed him (exept for a guy on Youtube who shows of the alternate endings of the game of whom won't tell me how to do it)

long story short has anyone here either played Chaos Rising and beaten him (if so would you please give me advice on slaying this mighty beast) or knows what I am going through?

I haven't done it, but nearly done it, it was due to a glitch with avitus that I didn't do it.
Firstly, who are you using to fight him

Are you full corruption?

yep and don't have either Davian or Avitus so i don't have much of a choice

I did it with three terminators and Cyrus just before i wrote this post, it seems like somethign is wrong if he is that strong, were you so slow that 75 blood ravens died maybe? When I met him only 72 had died and even though it took some time (20 minutes) and some running between the locator beacon and the boss it wasn't really hard. A tip is that you upgrade one of Cyrus's disciplines enough and give him the healing kit because then it will become an energy using ability instead and you will not run out.

yeah 75 blood ravens keep dying

also I did keep running between nearby locator beacon and Ulkir still equalled long 30 or more fight and then as i wrote at the starting post his health goes back up to full for some reason

No... it's for all DOW related things despite it's title. You eventually learn that the titles and descriptions of the boards are quite under-descriptive. I learn that when i posted a SM army list in the "Army Lists" section and it was moved.

I wouldn't sweat it, the mods seem non-existant compared to the before times.
