So a while back ago I decided I really wanted the GW paint gun, but I heard nothing but terrible things about it, and I know GW usually releases overpriced items... So I did a little research using the net... especially these sites

and so I went to harbor freight and bought an airbrush and compressor for 100$

The only problem with this set is it only comes with instructions on how to take everything apart, so I had no choice but to tinker...
I set up in the garage, and using advice I had heard, I began to paint some space wolves.... I put in the paint, a little bit of rubbing alcohol and water. I hooked up the hose to the airbrush and checked to make sure that air was coming through... check...
I mixed the paint/water/alcohol concoction until it was like whole milk... not skim.. not 2%... whole milk. I mixed it up and hooked it up to the airbrush and eagerly pushed the button... huh? nothing happened, but by accident, I tilted the button and different amounts of paint sprayed out according to how far I tilted it. I guess this is a dual action and not a single... The paint flowed nicely and soon I put it to the land raider... oh mama! it went on so smoothly... Im in love. I then moved on to some blood claws, and the airbrush blew the little plastic buggers over, so I just decided to hold them in my hand.. so what if my hand got a little dirty. Near the end of the blood claws, the gun started to spurt... I would shake it a little and then paint would come out.. I suppose it was just about out of paint. So now everything is based beautifully, and its time to clean the brush. I used hand soap and water... Air was coming out of the brush, but very little water... i hope I am cleaning this thing right. After about 10 minutes of this process, not much is happening. I guess later tonight I will go to AC moore art store and buy a book about airbrushing, and see what I need to do for proper maintenance...
A new era of painting has begun.... Is there anything in this someone can glean? The manual with the brush and compressor tells me little....
