"Nothing is invisible from a Khemrian's eyes when you are in a tomb, Bretonnian. And no, I simply find comfort in the dark, away from the---blinding, I guess, though not really the right word here---sun..."

Ashen-Shugar heard a noise and turned to the entrance of the tomb. Something was walking in. It was Asuyr. Ashen-Shugar crouched down in the alcove to be less visible to the Elf's good eyesight. ''Shh'' was all she said to zarrak.

Zarrak smirked and sank into the shadows, leaving no trace of his presence.

Asuyr had ridden into the empire camp, charged into the generals tent and interrogated him about where the damsel was, after the mind reading he learned allot, the funniest of wich was that the general was considering a parade just because he enjoyed it. He then managed to pick out her magical trail leading into a cave, he also spotted the khemrians footsteps in the sand, he walked into the cave and saw the Damsel sitting in the corner and could barely pick out the khemrians contoures towards the cave wall. "Ashen-Shugar i need your help, i need you and Zarrack to go and "convince" the ogres to join our course, you got two choices... one you can go convince the empire general to give you five sacks of gold to pay the ogres, or two you can kill and eat the eating part is very important the current tyrant because in this way you will be in comlpete control of the ogres here since they wont dare to oppose you. If you chose option two expect to have to fight several of the best ogres since they will try and take over the tribe, try and avoid this since this will be the best ogres in the camp and we want them for fighting. Should you end up fighting Ashen you may help Zarrack trough passive magic that strengthens him, nothing else since they will blame you, and kill you, and eat you. The general is a whimp so just scarying him should convince him, i need to go handle the dwarves." By that Asuyr turns around and starts walking out of the cave leaving some time for questions.

Ashen-Shugar stood up and silently cursed. ''Well, I would rather give the Ogres some gold because there is no way that I am going to eat one.'' Ashen-Shugar left the tomb and Zarrak followed. Ashen-Shugar reached the Generals tent and lit it on fire. She walked in and stopped the Genral from getting away. She pulled out a knife and held it to his throat. ''Give me six bags of gold. NOW'' Ashen-Shugar let go of the General and he ran to his desk and pulled out six bags of gold. Ashen Shugar snatched them and left the burining tent at a run. Arrows and bullets shot past Zarrak and Ashen-Shugar but they managed to escape. ''Why six bags of gold when you need five?'' Asked Zarrak. ''Because one is for you and your mercenary buisness, if you start it.'' Ashen-Shugar handed one of the bags to Zarrak and set off to find Asuyr.

"Ah...", Zarrak stopped to weigh the bag, and got shot in the back. A second or so later, he was back up again, silently cursing. "One of these days, dammit...one of these days..."
Ashen-Shugar reached the ogre camp a while later, with Zarrak trailing silently along behind the dunes. He knew how to hide in a desert, especially one with absolutely no cover or hiding places. If Ashen-Shugar got in trouble, Zarrak would mysteriously appear from nowhere and be ready to defend her. He was also quite smug, because the mercenary business was off to a flying start. He had a bag of gold and a gem, worthless to him but not to others, that he valued at maybe 13 gold pieces, and he had armour and a sword and a terrifying visage. That was enough.

Asuyr was riding towards the Dwarf camp and suddenly notices that the general tent is on fire, he couldnt help but admire the directness of that damsel, he was just hoping that they didnt get in trouble in the ogre camp since to win any duel you had to eat your oponent. He rode down into a mine making sure to speed up as bullets wizzled past him, the dwarves werent very happy to see him, after avoiding dwarves for ten minutes while speeding trough the labyrint of tunnels and corridors he finally came to the big door he was searching for, infront of it two hammerers and a thane was standing, carrying the key to the door was the thane. Asuyr knew that he could not just decapitate the thane because that would ruin his chances of discussing the matters with the dwarf lord, it wasnt unlikely the thane was the lords son. So he stepped of his horse and called out a challenge for the thane, sending his horse back out of the cave again with a whistling noise. The thane simply sendt the hammerers at Asuyr, he giggled as they closed in, Asuyr charged them and just before they reach melee he leaps over them, catching the Thane of guard and slamming him to the ground with his shield with both the momentum from his leap and finesse. He cuts the keyring from the confused Thanes belt and unlocks the door, once there he walks up to the throne and stops just infront of the Lords bodyguards, taking his helmet of and laying down his arms and kneels infront of the lord, "Dwarf i appologize for the mess but what i need to talk to you about is very important."

Ashen-Shugar stopped about fifteen steps from the main entrance to the ogre camp and called out that she wanted to talk. A sudden burst of movement told her that the ogres had heard her shout. One ogre walked out. It was about 12 feet hight and 5 feet wide. It stopped in front of Ashen-Shugar. She smelled the stench of unwashed bodies and raw flesh. The Ogre moved one hand towards the entrance, as if showing her the way in. She walked in and knew she would have to impress the Ogre in charge to get out. Many ogres watched her as she was directed to the biggest tent in the camp. The big Ogre bellowed into the tent and another voice from within told Ashen-Shugar to enter. She did and was amazed by the size of the ogre inside. 16 feet high and 7 feet wide, Ashen-Shugar knew it was almost undefeatable in a duel. The tyrant roared and she slowly put down the five bags of gold in front of it. It ripped one open and was obviously satisfied with the contents the tyrant muttered to Ashen-Shugar. She produced a document and an inked feather and passed both to the tyrant. She watched it clumsily writing its name at the bottom of the sheet. It handed the document back and Ashen-Shugar explained the directions the the empire camp, so they may stay near there. The tyrant escorted Ashen-Shugar to the exit and let her leave without any trouble. She turned to zarrak and said ''That went pretty well, it seems.''

The lord made a hand signal and his throne carriers carried him face to face with the elf, Asuyr stands up takes his helmet on and picks his arms back up, he could almost taste the tension in the room, behind him he could feel ten thunderers aiming at him aswell as cannons, bolt throwers and organ guns pluss allot more thunderers aiming at him from the walls in the room. Beside the throne there was a black bearded dwarf carrying two small axes and a massive two handed axe on his back, the dwarf lord opens his mouth and starts speaking in a terrible elvish accent. "This is my grandson, he is the best pit fighter my line has ever seen and we are old, if you can beat him in a one vs one duel i might actually consider talking to you." Asuyr made ready to fight the blackbeard and as he was about to walk into the duel ring the lord had pointed out he hears a roar behind him "Curse you elf, i willl kill you!" It was the Thane, and Asuyr just managed to sidestep before his two handed axe crashed down where he had been standing just a second ago, this dwarf was young and unexperienced because going into a blow with all your force is a major mistake when fighting and elf, it was decent against greenskins and you could get away with it against the humans, but not against an elf. Asuyr spins around and cuts the wooden stick holding the head of the axe to the shaft in two, then goes around once more and cuts the beard of the dwarf. "Back off or i will kill you" Asuyr said in a very calm voice, the dwarf came at him with his fists Asuyr was about to slice him in two at the gut but can hear the clumsy blackbeard behind him. Silent to a dwarfs standard but still very loud. He sidesteps again and stabs his sword under his left hand and with a stroke of luck the clumsy blackbeard tried to catch the tip with his throat. Then brings his sword in an upward sweep cutting the Thanes skull in two. Turns around carefully listening for gunpowder blowing up, but hears noone. The dwarf lord stares at him with eyes of pure fury, "Leave this place now before i kill you!" Asuyr knowing that taking on a whole dwarf hold was beyond him, and turns around, and starts walking away, refusing to run because this would show fear. Once he reaches the exit he mounts up again and rides of the the ogre camp hoping to make it there before the damsel leaves. He hated the fact that he hadnt succeded in his task, but his guess was that Teclis had foreseen that all along so he did not really care, he had done all he could and there was nothing more to do than forging an alliance with Zarrack and Ashen-Shugar and wait for the rest of his kin to arrive.

Ashen-Shugar knew she was no longer welcome in the empire camp, so she had to find a place to rest, because the blistering sun was falling and a shiny moon was coming up. It soon would be dark. Ashen-Shugar went to the only other good place. The Tomb. After entering she cast defensive barriers on herself and on the entrance. She turned around and nearly got a heart attack when she saw Zarrak inside her mystic barriers behind her. ''Dammit Zarrak, that is scary.... how did you get through my barriers?'' Zarrak replied ''I was inside them all along, Bretonnian.'' She said ''Well thats fine by me but next time tell me you're there. Im going to sleep now, over here, you go over there.'' Ashen-Shugar walked off to the back of her defensive barriers and lay down to sleep.

Zarrak laughed, a dry humourless rasping, then set off, outside into the moonlit deserts. He would not be back until first light.

The morning sun rose. Ashen-Shugar got up and checked her defensive barriers. They were still working. It was already getting hot outside the tomb and Ashen-Shugar had nothing to do, so she just stayed in the tomb.

(OOC: allright, but remember that from monday i probably wont be able to post for at least a week maybe up to 10days, but here goes then.)
Asuyr had to find Ashen, luckily for him she was uncarefull and her magical trail was as easy to follow as an ogres smell, wich was for an elf very easy to follow. He could also sense the magical barrier she had made, enough to stop humans and other ungifted races in the ways of magic, Asuyr knew that he could easily break trough the barrier with his lance and a determined charge. He weighted it up, should he crash trough the barrier or ask Ashen to remove it for him, when he tought about it it was probably best to ask Ashen to remove it, Asuyr rode over to the magical barrier and gave it a tap with his lance making it crackle and make enough noise to alert the bretonian, the khemrian was out he could not see or hear him anywhere and he had spotted something that might have been his tracks but hadnt bothered checking it out.

Ashen-Shugar turned at the sound of her barriers crackling. It was Asuyr. Ashen-Shugar removed the barriers and let Asuyr in. ''What brings you here, Asuyr?'' Said Ashen-Shugar. She replaced the barrier and Asuyr got off his horse.
