W.F.R
Warhammer 40k FOR REAL
what would happen if a space marine/anything in your imagination (oh god) went into some random world like a Pokemon planet or a grocery store? Would they liberate it in the name of the emperor? Would they wear the bacon on their nose? Slaughter for the Blood God? Or anything else? Make a character. Level up to gain new powers and find special treasures to gain new catchphrase abilities
Make your character it like this--
Name:
Description:
Powers (maximum 4):
Equipment:
Catchphrase to activate superpower, THAT CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE A DAY!!!!!!!!! (OUTSIDE COMBAT)(maximum 1): "_____" = "____"
Picture: (optional or you can simply describe your character or pick a recognizable one)
Example:
Name: Captain Marneus Calgar
Description: Supreme Commander of the the Ultramarines
Power: Super strength, immunity to fear, extra Space Marine organs
Equipment: Power Armor, Power Fists, Bolter attachments
Catchphrase: "For the Emperor!"= Extra Combat attack
RULES
#0 {lol}) Don't break a rule
#1)NEVER ARGUE WITH THE GM
#2)Their are two modes, normal mode and "You have no choice but to fight" mode
*In normal mode i will present a situation and everyone playing one by one must make their decision on what they want to do individually or as a team.
* In combat mode everyone present must enter turn based combat with 5 levels of health PERFECT HEALTH (no penalties to attack)>MINOR WOUND(-1 to attack rolls)>MAJOR WOUND(-1 attack, called to turn less)> CRITICALLY WOUNDED(same as major, -2 to rolls)> MORTALLY WOUNDED (same as mortal, but you must a pick a number ((decided at the time of the injury)) to find out what bad thing happened to you)>DEAD (make a new level one character to join later)
Ranged weapons attack first GM decides weapon stats and will give you a list of attack options when it comes to this
IMPORTANT! When in "You have no choice but to fight mode" post in the color green at the top so other can distinguish if you are fighting in combat or just causing havoc to civilians. Pick a number when told MANUALLY OR RANDOMLY WITH THE POST ACTION. Your choice.
#3) Once you join, REGULARLY POST AND PLAY OR YOU WILL MOST LIKELY DIE. If you go on vacation or something, pm me!
#4)Fill in spots quickly or you might miss out!
#5) No God-modding, there are few limitations in this game but I don't want people making a indestructible character. Try not to make your character more than 10 feet tall or it just gets difficult
#6) Have fun or get out
Character ideas
40k RACES:
HUMAN: You have to know what this is...
SPACE MARINE: Genetically superior human in power armor, much bigger than a person (one of the funniest characters to pick)
ELDAR: survivors of an ancient fallen civilization reminiscent of classic fantasy Elves
TAU: the blue skins, a young and technologically-sophisticated civilization of aliens that work for the "greater good" of their empire and its inhabitants
ENEMY RACES (still playable but harder to work with in the game):
ORKS:a barbaric humanoid green-skinned semi-fungoid race
DAEMONS OF CHAOS AND THE CHAOS SPACE MARINES: fallen space marine (also fun to play) who changed their allegiance from the Emperor of Mankind to the four Daemon Gods, Khorne (Blood, Hatred, War and Violence), Slannesh (Desires, Secrets, and Lies), Nurgle (Despair, Disease, and Decay), and Tzeentch (Change and Corruption)
NECRONS: soulless living metal constructs tricked into slavery by space entities
TYRANID:an all-consuming, all-organic, bio-engineered, extragalactic hive-swarm
Other Races and inspiration (the game can be funny with afew of these but try to stick to 40k races b/c actually the game will be quite fun that way):
Psychic Pet Rock
An extremely anger rapper/rocker/Dr. Phil
A superhero
A historical Figure (in power armor?
An epic hero (Space Beowulf???)
An overly action oriented character (vetren guardmen lost his jaw in battle and replaced it with a combat knife, lost his middle finger and replaced it with a mini bolt pistol)
etc.
COMMON ENEMIES FOUND ONLY IN WFR: (my friends and i have played WFR instantly after our first week playing W40k and have developed some mighty inside jokes
GIRL SCOUTS:A combination of the above enemy races, soulless bodies that think through an untraceable hive-mind controlled by demonic powers to end the world in a barbaric fashion. Don't eat their cookies
Ash (from Pokemon): For some reason we have not fully comprehended, Ash is always sitting in front of an open fan, waiting to be pushed in. If you don't do it, you have no balls.
(more to come later)
LOCKED CHARACTERS:
withiko as:
GM
Now that you have this games template, feel free to use it in other scenarios
the job of the GM is to first present three options of planets for all characters to come to agreement on and "explore,"
and work their GM magic. This game can have many styles but almost always ends in a hilarious fashion. Feel free to join this one or make your own if you want to start a role play!
