"They don't have any in that sector!" The captain of 'The Prayer' shivered. "Just keep firing on the main Vessels!" He turned the handle to full. "Don't hold back!" The boarding craft slammed into the side of the ship. "Marine squads Gamma and Delta to Bay 4!" The door behind him flew open, The door guards body was mutilated horrifically. He drew his laspistol and fired on the chaos marine that killed his men. "Die! Enemy of the emperor!" Blood spattered against the far wall of the bridge. The shoulderpad of the chaos marine hit the ground, the head followed and the guard poured in through the door to find the captain dead, lain across the control panel, the chaos space marine was dead, Chainsword wounds splitting his body in two diagonally from hip to neck.
The guards retrieved his body and to co-pilot atempted to steer the transport ship out of the firing line. SMASH! The ship was split in two, An un-identified battlebarge crashed into the side of the trans-cruiser. "Help me!" Moans echoed down the corridor. Jhemnek Closed himself in the airlock with two of his guards. The cargo container was shredded in the blast. Papers flew out and drifted around in space.

So heres the story: The papers in the cargo bay are an order for excavation of a sacred piece of technology. this technology could be a weapon capable of destroying the enemies of man, or the emperor himself, or it could just be a self powered grav engine. Nobody will know until the papers are recovered. Both ships were destroyed in the crash and no records of thier exact position remain. So the race to find it is on, once a party has found it, the second part of the race to reach the excavation zone is on, the winner is whoever retrieves the technology, But then they must safely transport it back.
you can be any force in warhammer 40,000. you can only control one ship, and you must name the ship, describe or have an image of the ship and description or image of the captain/pilot. you must label armaments/abilities for the ship and armaments/abilities ofr the captain. In your ship you can have other fighter craft and stuff like a troops transport barge, it can be fitted with landing craft and fighters, whatever you want, but you cannot control more than one main ship under the same character. you can have up to two characters, they can control the same ship if you wish, In which case the ship can exceed normal boundaries to an extent.
