Classic Skaven To Trade

Hi people

Ok, I have masses of old, old Skaven (1st and 2nd edition models). I'm sure they are worth quite a lot to collectors, and there are some really nice miniatures in there that would complement a modern Skaven army, but sadly they are just gathering dust so I want to get rid of them.

Basically I have several of everything, including 2 screaming bells and 3 doomwheels, about 10 warlocks/seers, probably well over 2000 foot troopers, about half of which are the diagonal-facing clanrats, the rest being made up of stormvermin and plague monks. Also I have about 20 rat ogres & packmasters, 20 warpfire throwers, 30 jezzail teams and about 50 poison wind globadiers. This is what I can remember off the top of my head, there is mote. Totalled up the whole lot came to over 15,000 points in the original 1st army book.

I'd rather not split them up too much, I'm planning on putting them on ebay for job lots of £50 for about a third. Make me an offer for an equivalent amount of unpainted, unprimed (preferably unassembled) tyranids and you can have it. I am looking for basic troop types - what you get in the battleforce box is about right (yes please, carnifex too if you have one!).

If anyone is mad enough to trade a biotitan for them you can have the lot - barbed hierodule please.

The Skaven are a mix of totally unpainted (about 75%) and shockingly horribly painted with Humbrol airfix oil paints (about 25%), though they are at least ten years old and the paint comes right off with some stripper and a good scrub.

Que nostalgic madman!!!

lol I ordered a barbed hierodule a few days back it is due for arrive next Wednesday. I bought it as i liked the look of the one in the apoc book and simply wanted to paint one for myself (i prefer to collect around models i like rather than models i "need"). Anyhow i like the old models much more (plus i have always wanted to see what a doomweel looks like up close) and have always considered myself a collector and painter more than a gamer although it never stops me from playing.

Anyway enough of my rambling.Simply put, it is not often you come across such a large amount of the older models in one place, and if you can wait i will be willing to trade a brand new barbed hierodule for the lot (that should keep me busy for a while at least) the only problem I'll have is finding a place for it all. (if interested PM me and we can arrange more details.)

Wow, now THAT I was not expecting.

DAMMIT! I sold a chunk of them to another collector yesterday - if you'd like the remainder I'll put your name on it right now.

I will warn you that most of it is not in great condition, however if you're serious I will go through the box and photograph them for you - there's still plenty left, including at least 1 doomwheel, and both screaming bells. Most of the jezzails and poison wind globadiers have gone though.

If you'd like me to tot up exactly whats left please let me know, I can have it all sorted for you tomorrow. Also I have a small (painted) WH fantasy Chaos army and three unpainted Blood Bowl teams (original Human, Orc and original metal Norse) which I'll throw in as well.

I haven't seen these minis for about ten years, so I'm pretty excited to take a look at them again!

Oh yeah, I have some warzone stuff too - I'll photograph the lot for you.
