Just a check on a rule:
I was playing against my Marines player today. 1750, and he resigned at the bottom of turn Four. Best 1st round ever: Immobilised a Vindicator, Exploded a Land Raider and cleaned up the Command Squad held within on turn one by 2 Zoanthropes, a BomberFex and a 5 Strong Deathspitter + BStrangler squad!!! I've never before been able to kill off either the Land Raider or the Command Squad before! First clear win ever too ;D. To be fair, luck was against him much of the game and the 3+ saves weren't with him at all. That melted Command Squad? Of the 15 - 20 saves they had to make failed 10. A craptacular 6 Twos and 3 ones against the Bomber's Strangler was sheer delight (It's about time my Fexs did something right!)
Anyhew, during the game a CC vs Vehicle situation came up. I ran my Super Spinegaunts (testing out a 9 point +I +S variant... works well with Feeder Tendrils nearby) against the Immobilised Vindicator to finish it off. Made the attacks and the Penetration rolls. Obviously, all i was trying to do was glance off the weapons (successful, regardless of the coming disagreement).
The problem arose when he said that CC attacks are always classed as AP- against Armour unless they are power weapons/Rending/other that negates armour saves. This would leave the Fisters at -3 on the Damage table.
I said that I didn't think that was correct, because I've not known AP to affect anything in CC, but he put forward the argument that even Orks will get their 6+ in CC and so most CC weapons must therefore be AP-.
I can't find anything that supports either of us, so we diced for it (even though it was irrelevant), but I want a check for the future.
