What Else Should I buy for my army

Hey guys,

I just wanted to get your oppinion. I am just starting my nids army and I have got a battleforce and extra termagaunts. What do you think I should get. To add to my army ;D

Tyrant first off. Then an assault brood if you can afford it, another battle force if you can't. Then look at a lictor or 2, a zoan or 2, maybe some biovores, raveners, gargoyles. It depends on your play style.

Well I guess I love running at the enemy as fast as I can shooting at them and then slaughtering them in close combat.

Genestealers, broodlord(for infiltrate) and a winged hive tyrant, with CC setup.

Some raveners would be good. Some more Horms and some leaping warriors

Thanks guys this is really helping me I think I am going to buy an assault brood and then buy the conversion kit off of forgeworld so I can make the warriors winged.

Any other thoughts are welcome

I'd be inclinded to use the fex from the assault brood to make a Tyrant (simple enough conversion, just make it stand up + any more fancy stuff you care to do) out of that to save you some money.

I'm a big fan of the Winged Hive tyrant + TL Devourers myself

Oh yeah what kind of carnifex do you think I should build from my battleforce.

It really depends on the rest of your army. If your army is very CC with little longrange, go sniper. If very shooty with little CC, go ninja. If you have a good mix, I would go dakka.
sniper-Barbed Strangler, Venom Cannon, Enhanced Senses
ninja-2xScything Talons, Toxic Miasma, Adrenal(+WS), can fit in elite
dakka-2xTL devourers, Enhanced Senses I think, also elite

I think I am going to give it Scything talons and twin linked devourers. I think that offers a good mix and it will help me in both areas. I have mostly a shooty army.

Oh yeah does anyone have any thoughts on barbed hierodules I think they are really cool I am just wondering how they perform.

Genestealers are a must have.

2 Battleforces isn't a valid choice. The assualt brood is 2 battleforces+ 1 fex for the same price.
