New deep strke rules, and the necron codex

I have just been a'reading the necron codex and looking at the new deep stike rules. The Vale of darkness allows the Necron Lord, to teleport from place to place on the battlefild, using the Deepstrike rules. That menas he can be accdently trasported into reseves, are there any FAQ that talk about this?

No FAQ on it... but I could assume that he was teleporting the unit away from battle temporarily or something...
Posting it up on The C'Tan Support group site to see what they think... but i would say that it goes into reserves.

I think I'd use a house rule where if they end up having to go into reserve, simply say that the teleport fails to work this turn; leave the unit where it is.

no it makes scence, because its like his molecules take longer to dis/reassemble.

Hmm, it's a rare scenario, but if he were to land into another unit, then I guess he probably would be transported into reserves... suppose it can kinda make sense...

Speaking of Deepstriking Necrons...
Hooray for the FAQ not clearing up whether a Deepstriking Monolith can fire the Gauss Arcs using the Ponderous rule. That won't cause any sort of confusion AT ALL.

I play Necrons, and I think it is a fair rule... put them in Reserve. Remember that this MAY happen in the slim chance of Deep Striking on impassible terrain. The rules states that they missed their mark (rather than being destroyed.) Combine this with the fact that reserves will always come in play (eventually) it may actually save your Lord and Warriors!
