GW Legality Issues

Hello all.
I am really addicted to Flash, and have started making a flah game(Not 40k-related). That has hit a roadblock, so I'm making an interactive 40k army builder. I tried it around with some of my friends, and they think it would be really good, especially with the lack of having to count up points.

[Main Part]Long story short, I have the basis for the Flash part ready, but I was wondering about the legal things of this. 3 main points:
1)Would I be allowed to add point values to biomorphs?
2)Would I be allowed to add point values to models/bio-morphed models?
3)Would I even be allowed to do any of this?

I plan on (if legal) to start with Tyranids, as I play them and own the codex, then SM and Eldar(SM mine, eldar brothers) and a friend who was willing to do it for fantasy as well.

My opinion on the matter is that you should be careful.

Games Workshop sold two interactive army building softwares, called Enemies of the Imperium and Armies of the Imperium. They have not seen much update in ages, but they exist.

I'm unsure of the legality myself, which is why I don't have my excell sheets for tyranids and Necrons up. I use them, but advertising and actively distributing could be an issue.

It wasn't a thing of distributing them or selling them or anything, just making something quick and easy on flash. Nothing big.

EDIT: Looking through the GW legal, by the looks of it, I just can't call it something like "Tyranid Assault Brood" or anything like that, and I guess I would have to put the "Copyright GW. Etc." on the bottom of the page. I'm not selling, or devaluing anything. It's not going to be as posh or good as the paying ones.
Another Edit: I guess I wouldn't be allowed to add stats onto it?

You should check out to see what the guys who made "Army Builder" (Lone Wolf Software, I think it is?) did.

I have an excel spreadthat does this I created for myself... you cant hand it out to people, so I built one myself.

Just have added values and a bunch of triggers its pretty easy. even if your 17

That is definitely covered under fair usage, especially if you are not going to sell it.

Feel free to make you want, you won't be seeing any legal reprocutions for it.

I tried to make on eon Excel. It failed dismally.

I found it to be a fun minor foray into computer logic, and after building the Necron list (it's a good race to experiment with, as they have relatively few options) I've learned even more.

My next project is to either further streamline my Nid list, or whip up a Tau list. The Battlesuit options, vehicles in various FOC slots, and mixed squads have been giving me headaches though.
