sorry bout the wait, was very busy yesterday. Re romorini: Yea, just be clear about it. yu can choose not to use your 500 points a day, like I say, thats the maximum you can do. You can modify it, and as i've said, everyone else gets that chance should they want it, but only once.

Log:-Carter All research completed. Sent a troop of bazooka vets over the mountains, and they say they can only see a vast ocean stretching out to the horizon. The motorbike vets have been to the edges of the island, and they can only see the same. We cannot be the only landmass in this ocean. We must go further out. Hence the Lander transport. It is a naval transport capable of transporting small numbers of infantry and vehicles. They should be able to get us across this ocean. Unfortunatley it won't have any weapons, but I don't want to appear hostile on first contact, should I make it.
The mountains have given me an idea. I can build watch towers on them where we will be able to see if anyone is heading to the base. For this reason, I have commissioned the watch tower. It can be considered as a secondary base, defending my primary base from attack. Construction has begun.

Log:-Facade I have received word from base that my Ground Shock Men have managed to capture a female Rancor from deep within the wilderness. She has been brought back to our HQ where she will be sedated and placed in a large containment for a beastie her size. Now begins the training, if we succeed, we will have maybe two of these behemoths aiding us in warfare. Maybe. Meanwhile, I have just sent message to the Aliens confirming that I, and my men are here for peace and only want allies.

Log:-Facade Just a few more days and my new line of Cyborg Troopers will stamp this ground with their powerful body structure and Aeropacks. Now I only need to design the beastly weapon they weild, a hand held Missile launcher (25 shots), other than that they only have blades on the wrists of their hands. No new news on the Rancor, she shows just a bit of less anger than before. In addition, I have found roughly 200 men who have signs of the Force and are showing intelligence and adeptness in weilding the new Jedi weapons. Lastly on my list are the hover-speeders and the new type of Katarn-Class armor for an elite Delta Squad. These will take a while, but no other info on them.

Log:-Carter Still no sign of anyone else. Hopefully once the secondary base is complete we can watch at all times of day, and maybe, just maybe we'll see something.
On clearer days we can see a landmass in the distance. Best estimates are that it will take about 4 days to reach though.
I should probably consider how to defend my base in case of attack.

Log:-Facade Alas, they are done. My Dark Troopers (Cytroopers) are showing strength at maximum capacity and their Aeropacks can lift them for 20 seconds per burst, up to 15 feet in the air. Also the Katarn-Class Armor is going along fine, I have agreed to weld together some sort of "Energy Saber" with the help of Tyranidwarrior and his Energy Sword technology. Time is of essence, soon I will send a fleet of 1,000 men to cross the ocean to further islands. We must expand and meet other people.
To TyranidWarrior: ************************************************************************** Yes, I agree. My messenger has taken off towards your island with 4 Lightsabers. We will stay in touch, this new technology will serve us both very, very well. Especially in warfare. Maybe having the Energy Sword at the edge of the Lightsaber handle, and the actual "Saber" coming out of the other end, maybe slightly smaller for safety purposes. We'll see.

Re UnseenOne: Seems fine. You can start with a HQ, but if you mean to go on with using the stargate, you'll need to research the capabilities for 50 days, because it's a one-off project, and i suppose you did start with it. Although I would like to ask the others if they feel that a device such as the stargate should be found rather than begun with, meaning it takes 65 days. I know the alterans built them in the first place, but like I say, we start with a clean slate (other than the HQ and the 5000 troops). I'll put it to a vote and decide then. Basically consider the 50 days as the time for deciphering the symbols and finding a way to power it (lets say you take 25 days to decode it and 25 days to find/research and build a ZPM).
So, i put it to the other players: Can unseenone start with a (unuseable) stargate? bear in mind that you two have crashed ships to work with, given their unpowered status.

I'm fine with an inactive stargate, since stargates are of little use for traveling on a world, The intent may be to use it as a recruiting mechanism.
Also, are people fine with me missing pretty much every weekend in the foreseeable future? My schedule is packed.

It is good to see my fellow Autobots functional again. Unfortunately, when Grimlock was brought on line the Animal instincts of his alternate form took over, knocking out many of the systems the micromasters had worked so long to put together. We will need to reinforce the medical bay before attempting to bring more of our more brutish brethren back. I hesitate to bring these powerful allies on-line so quickly, but Blurr has come back from circling the globe (it took him about four hours) and reported a mass gathering of energy-weapon wielding bipeds. He plans to circumnavigate in several more directions. I...eagerly... await his jabbering report.
The Autobot Brutes typically acquire lumbering beast modes or heavy tanks or frightening destructive capabilities. The average load-out of these large autobots is a plasma flame-thrower of tremendous proportions and a heavy missile launcher, not to mention strength of a scale that is awe-inspiring even to their fellow Autobots.
A team of micromasters proposed an impressive idea for an upgrade. They believe it is possible to replicate the city's long-ranged scanners on a smaller scale, so that each and every one of my troops would be able to scan an object at a certain range and reformat to adopt that particular form. This could be used to generate a great deal of confusion among our enemies' ranks, as what looked to be the arrival of reinforcements was in fact an army of maximals and autobots. At the very least it could cause a great deal of confusion during an open battle, as casualties would make it easy for my autobots to blend in with their motor pool.
