Forge World - Quality going downhill?

Well, I now have 3 pairs of tyranid warrior wings, a Malanthrope, and a Winged Hive tyrant. A few years back I purchased a Scythed Hierodule from FW, there was minimal flash, mould lines and such and it was easy to clean up. How ever, the new ones I have are absolutely terrible. The Malanthrope has lost an entire section of its back where they pour the mold in, The Tyrant has lines that I've been trying my best to file off but they are just so large that if I file anymore it will wreck the model, and the Warrior Wings membranes aren't joined to the digits.

The backlog is a problem, but with quality going downhill, I think forge world is in for many other problems. Has anyone else had a bad quality item recently? Or am I just unlucky. Replacing the Malan/wings.

bad luck coupled with their overordering and pressure to meet orders.
It does them worse to deliver late and they are getting a bad rep for that already - thing is that I don't think they are looking to expand their operations as this apoc craze might blow over very quickly - and then they would be left overstaffed. Course it might never end - that is the gamble they are taking

its no downhill, its just random. my hierodules had minimal flash, so did my malanthrope and trygon. the phant aswell, the meiotic spores had close to none. the only one that had lots was the harridan

I'm not really in a posistion to pass judgement of the casting quality of Forgeworld...

What I can say, however, is that I shall report back if the Salamander should pads I ordered over a month ago ever show up. But the delivery side of things... not so hot.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's mold degradation starting to become apparent on the older models like the Heirodule, and the Winged Hite Tyrant, but the Malanthrope and Warrior wings shouldn't have that problem.

Side note: Does anyone else remember Forge World producing an Eldar Bonesinger and other curious little specialized figures? I can't find them on the site.

Yeah ive allways been quiet a fan of the forge world,
yeah the the bonesinger was a real nice model
but i think that the molds are starting to degenerate
as i dont think they would let their quality slip..?
besides if they were cutting corners would their shipping times be so great?
