I like it. I read it all today when my store got its copy in. If you have any questions post here. Ill try to clarify as much as possible. Overall im happy, as they changed stuff, clarified alot of stuff, and added some fluff (theres a giant picture of a dark eldar space port which is awesome, and i think it means theyre not dead).
And i bought my friends tyranids today so now my swarm is more massive and ready for 5th edition.

How is rending looking, is infiltrate changing, and is the rumor about troops granting troops behind them a cover save true?

Can MCs fire 2 weapons? yes they can still fire two weapons romorini: ya cc is different. Basically i charge in, then everyone has counter-attack now, so they get to push in. you do attacks as normal, but you can pull models from anywhere, not just the kill zone. Then your LD test is all determined by how many casualties you lost by (so if you killed 4 guys and they killed 6, you take LD -2). Also if you are fearless or auto pass this test, you take saves = to how many you lost by (so in the above you would have to take two saves) @ryshi: rending got moved to the wound roll, if something has infiltrating or scout they can be held in reserve. Then when they come in roll a dice. 1-2 they come in from left board edge, 3-4 right board edge, 5-6 you choose left or right. The cover one is really tricky. And the other one is true. If you can draw line of sight to a unit behind a unit and shoot at them, they get a 4+ cover save (think a wall of spinegaunts in front of your entire army )

How does line of sight work? Seeing as GW are releasing a 'marker light' for determining LOS, will it be measured from the models eyeview?
Hmm... *images stealers crawling chest-deep in alien goo behind a wall of dancing spinegaunts*
I hope not...

While I'm less than thrilled about how everyone can countercharge, and the model removal has altered, it looks like leadership will actually matter in this game now.
Are there any changes to fleet to further differentiate it from run?

hive crawler: Yes LoS is real LoS now: meaning if the model can see the head/arm/torso/legs of a model it can shoot it. This means that terrain is literal now, so you have to see through a window/between trees/between models to shoot something. Big thing here though is that your LoS passes through models/terrain, you get some sort of cover save. romorini: Leadership matters a tone, especially now that losing a combat as fearless or synapse seems to hurt alot too. All models can run meaning a d6 move in the shooting phase instead of shooting. However, they cannot assault. Models with fleet can assault. So fleet has not changed at all, except now alot of slow cc units (cc fexes, striking scorpions, orks, bloodclaws) can move around alot faster now.
