My Mancurian friend whom we're all peer-pressuring into playing 40k (he's chosen IG) informed me of a rumour that GW Manchester, in the Arndale centre, is hosting a gigantic tank battle on May 30th. Anyone else heard of/can clarify this?

Yes I was in the shop a week ago and this was mentioned. Apparently its a regular thing and they've got the record for the most tanks. Ill be going in tomorrow for a game so I can ask for some details if you wish.

That'd be pretty cool. I was thinking of going but it's too close to uni exam dates, 2 days after my last exam... could make it, but I could only stay at my mate's, who also has exams... still, he might take a look.
