ok. i had my first match with the new vampire counts stuff. it was me ( using vampire counts) my friend demers whom ive mentioned before (he was on my team using high elves) my friend nilo whom ive mentioned before(he used chaos, and i was against him.) and my other friend casey (he used brettonia and was on nilos team.) so we had 1000 pt armies. heres what we had
me: 8 vampires level 2 and with all the arkayne upgrades
mannfred von carstien same stuff.
demers: a prince on a dragon
20 archers
20 spearmen
2 bolt throwers
nilo: archeon ( with 4 of the chosen horse guys)
10 warriors
20 marauders (not sure if they were marauders but there were
20)
casey: 2 mages
a trebuchet
and a lot of troops. im not sure what else he had but it was
all either infantry or calvary.
ok 1 note: im not sure if we play exactly to the real rules. we do for most things except magic. we dont do pools. we just have those amount of dice every turn.
FIRST TURN: i went first. 3 of my vampires succesfully cast winds of undeath. with my other vampires i summoned roughly 73 zombies. i killed 10 of the ( marauders) then i killed 3 of caseys calvary guys. also i killed his mage.
demers went second , he killed a mage .
nilo just moved.
same with casey.
SECOND TURN: i killed the rest of the marauders and the chaos warriors( using all of my vampires casting winds of undeath) . also i killed all of caseys calvary and infantry.(i was really lucky with the dice).
demers didnt kill anyone but shot at nilos horses.
nilo did nothing.
casey killed the crew of 1 of demers' bolt throwers.
THIRD TURN: i finished off everyone except archeon. i used the spirit hosts(created with the spell) to fight him off( they had thirty wounds per, not sure if that id fair , or if you can even do it. also they had a vampire with the helm of comandment with them so they could actually fight him.) the dragon prince finished him off and thats it.
so i won and didnt lose a single guy, because they couldnt even get to me.
note: me and demers were holding a small castle through put the game.
