Troll sculpts and bolt thrower

Ok, I bought some horde miniatures to be my trolls. I hated the arms that came with them, scrawny. So I have been sculpting my own arms, they are supposed to be really long, like trolls. Here's a picture of the work so far. Remember, I use true milliput, fine grain in this case, which is Greenstuff bought in bulk. . 10 times cheaper of course. . and white/grey


Also I have created my bolt throwers to be "squig throwers". They work just like a bolt thrower, the squig is launched and eats everything in a straight line. . then dies of indigestion. here is the first one. . with my converted just launched squig, probably entering these in this months converting contest with my catapult.

Second bolt thrower is halfway done. . with a squig ready to launch.

Thanks guys, I will try to paint them up for the painting contest next month. Assimilator. . that is a VERY funny shirt in your sig.

I will admit I may have screwed up the hand son the weapons, they look good, but are a bit oversized . . oh well, trolls have BIG hands and feet. . (no crude jokes her please)
As a note when i post the last pics in the converting thread for this month. . the off hands of the two trolls with single handed weapons. . really old Tyranid warrior rending claws, from when the warriors were all metal, and pot bellied!

These hands, had few left over, man I wish I could order just these hands for rending claws.
