Tyrant Guard (pics so beware)

Ok did manage to get some pics of my Tyrant Guard/Fex. And I did manage to work out the lash whips for it as well ^^. It is still not fully done as I need to do some more work on the base and paint claws/whips but still..













The Lictor and Zoan I painted up for a friend as part of my Painting Studio project (yes I paint/convert for people (and do it cheap).

I like that fex conversion though as a Tyrant Guard its way too big. It just passes off as a monstrous creature to me. Though kudos on the work on it, it really does look pretty massive and the lash whip idea is quite a good one.

As for the lictor and the Thrope it would be a good idea to sort out that undercoat because I can see tons of metal shining through.

@terrible_Trygon: yeah the metal does show quite a lot on the pic, something it don't do irl. But as you guessed it still wip as there has been 0 done to their bases so its being fixed. And nah the fex is just the right size for a guard. The model they have are to small to block a HT really, besides you should see the HT they are to guard ^^.

well... honestly. The guard needs alot of paint work, i hate flat black, but i love black highlighted properly especially with yellow... and the other two things... I think you should master painting before doing other peoples work.

but the guard conversion, Looks good.

Pheonix: lol.. I never claimed to be a master painter and I wonder if you did read what I wrote. I did say it was not fully painted yet. As for my painting skills I paint to good enough as it is when I want, and not everyone is interested in golden demon winner quality. And considering I only charge for model/parts/paint + what ever extra people give me I sure as hell do a good job.
