Plastic wings for gargoyle conversion?

Is there a place were one could get plstic wings?

Is there any model in the warhammer universe that uses plastic wings is size for a gargoyle?

Termagaunts added some palstic wings whould be such an easy gargoyle conversion.

there is a hundred posts on this... and fyi there is plenty of alternatives.

- Daemon Wings pack (reaper mini's)
- Pva glue on leaf
- dragon wings (ok... so slightly out of scale...)
- swooping hawk wings (if you were going techno nids)
- of course if you wanted like anime style wings you could use the wings from either azreals helmet in the dark angels range or the night lords helmet sprue.

- gonna say the best bet is reaper mini wings...
Angelic wings or daemonic wings incubi (really nic wings)

I say bite the bullet and get get gargoyle wings.
The wings themselves are pretty decent looking, the right scale and look more "nidy" then most of the other alternatives.
Also, ordering the wings and buying the bases then putting them on gaunts is cheaper then buying normal gargoyles.
Also also, talking from experience I would recomend using the hormagaunt bodies, repositioning the legs, drilling a small hole in the chest (for the base) and filing off the middle arms/claws before adding the wings.

Oh, and don't forget the flying bases, I'm almost positive gargoyles come on flying bases, so can't just put them on the normal gaunt ones.

EDIT: although I don't really know anything about Reaper minis, you might wanna check that out.

Cool.re they plastic? That was the main issue.
Thouse devilwings are sweet though, and 10 bugs for 4.

Termagautns are pretty silly cheap compared to garg´s, and a bag of flying bases arnt expensive. So its basicly just to get some plastic wings.

A alternative, cheaper method would be to choose a set of wings from the list Pheonix posted and use that to make your own mold. You could then cast as many wings as you wished, for relatively little cost.

This could infringe on intellectual property rights as you are essentially copying someone else's work, hence only do it for personal use as opposed to commercial use

reaper stuff is metal... and copywrited btw... molds can be tough to make ... especially of wings... and especially reaper ones because of thier design... cheapest method... PVA glue on leafs... sparing that... reaper metal wings (nothing wrong with metal bits and the plus side is reaper stuff tends to be light so you can magnetize them... for ease of transport AND changing them back to gaunts...

I got all the gaunts that i need, even for apocalypse, hormas and gargloyles i was i need, and i whould love to have them in plastic so that i chould easily transport them.

And i expect that possessed wings are in a large spure were you dont need the rest?

the war store you mean... and yes they do... and yes the possesed sprue comes with lots of extra stuff you wont use for $45 USD for 2 wings... but the thing is... if you are smart about magnetizing and storing the metal ones could be nicer cause they can still be removed for transport and store and the would never break... where plastic can... and if you ever change your scheme... metal is easier to strip!

The metal wings with magnets might be my best call.

I managed to score 10 gargoyle wings for $1.50 US on ebay, pity they took weeks longer then expected to arrive...

Still, was good value

yeah... 10 dollars for 4 wings of various design means that it is reasonable... unless you do pva glue wings or the ones on the forum topic "A better bug" or something.
