Terrian Frenzy (extreme pic heavy)

again like my Winged tyrant it has been taken from the other forum. sorry about using recyled topics. these are all the updates i've done so far.

with my friend who has all the terrian we use going to cambridge i needed to make some terrian so my friends who are still around can play on. i bought a hotwire cutter on saturday (along with the new codex, terminator lord and paints) and began cutting out some terrian. this is what i've got so far.

3 hills (two large one small)
2 barricades
1 crater
3 bunkers
1 landing pad (around 2 by 1 foot long)
1 chaos Daemon gate

i now need to do the following for my city fight board.

2 18" walls
1 12" Gate
any amount of craters (from the scraps)
any number of buildings (i have a lot of plastic card and girders)
Roads
Canels

i also have a 4 by 6 terrian board for all this and may extend it to 4 by 10 for apocalpse.

THE CHAOS GATE









the defiler is there for size comparison and it ain't quite finished yet. first it needs a base which will be a MDF board and the points of the gate arn't glued on yet.

Ok small update, until i can get to B&Q for some wood the chaos gate is on hold. however i have just finished a wood which cost me around £16 to make but looks better then the GW ones in my opinion.

yay a medel! anyway sorry for not posting anything painting three armies, organising a Apocalypse battle and making terrian is hard work (not to mention the Collage work) but heres one of the many buildings i'm currently building.
right now i have enough templates to make 10 two wall buildings along with this one. each are 9" tall and are 6" squares mounted on cork bases which have an inch round for pavement. there is also six marines within the building showing it off for size comparison.

Walls Galore!









the walls all together are 4 foot long (18" for each wall and 12" for the gate) and stands 6" tall and 3" thick.

Wow, all I can say is that is really inspiring, cant wait to see nids with flesh hooks scaling those walls to get at their dinner

Also makes me wonder whether I should try my hand at some terrain, gf might have something to say about a cityfight board in the apartment though...

hey that looks awsome, although, maybe you could mess around with the walls and add mounted turrets to it. That, would be siick.
