Is this an Acceptable Hive Tyrant?

I made a hive tyrant out of an old action figure i found in my basement. I painted it and gave it a scratch build venom cannon. Do you think I could use this in a game?

You could in a friendly game as long as you tell your opponent what it is. But you wont be able to use it in a tourney, and I doubt they would let you use it in a GW store.
He is big though!

I think the scale might be a little too large judging by the size of the marines in the picture, could be some sort of large size tyranid for apocolypse games. Great for friendly games or for use to proxy a carnifex or something in your army while your building it up. It really does look more like the size of a small titan. Find out if anyone knows what kind of stats it would have if it was built with VDR. I'd drop the scratch built VC and add some wings and have those claws count as massive rending claws, it would be nice to bring along to an apocolypse game

You could arm it up with twin sets of scytals and call it a Scything Hierodule, the acid spray being shot out of its mouth.

You could certainly get away with it (though I think it'd be even cooler re-painted).
just say it has ST's and that 2 limbs are vestigle.
