I guess that's not the way for DG (nor a correct interpretation of their aura rule). He was killy though, just not scoring.

To correct a comment: You guys played it correct by allowing Big Guns Never Tire units to overwatch while engaged.

Aura Abilities section (pg. 38) explicitly states a unit can’t be affected by more than one of the same Aura.

Good showing even with the biovore scoring handicap (though tactical objs doesn’t feel the hurt as much). Too bad DG aren’t great and the opponent’s list had a poor scoring plan.

An interesting read once again!

Once small thing; when going over your army, you mention that you cannot use Shadow in the Warp for some reason, and I do not understand why. The rule says you can use it if your army is entirely faction <Tyranids>, which it is, regardless of what characters you use as your warlord.

To use shadow in the warp army rule you ALSO have to have a unit with the shadow in the warp ability.  I didn't take an HQ with it.  As has been pointed out to me, however, zoanthropes and maleceptors also have the datasheet rule that allows use of the army rule.  So I could have used the army rule while I still had a maleceptor or zoanthrope alive.

I noticed there’s no mention of battleshock anywhere in the report - did you guys just pass when relevant so it never impacted strays or objective control?
