There is a grace period that let's you use the army builder for free for a week(?) Then it's going behind a pay wall.

They just don't get it, do they.

It's unclear to me if the army builder will be paywalled or not. I think it'd be great if I could army build on codexes I bought. I'm guessing they'll have it behind a paywall though. If it's a one time fee or a small annual amount, that's fine but they'll probably charge $5 per month.

The army builder literally has a section thats quoted as saying
"You have full access to the battleforge army builder tool for a limited time"

Im ok with OpenOffice and my printer for rosters, but I'm happy if the rest of the app stays free. Good oversight of rules and data sheets.

It seems that even with absurdly simplified army construction rules, they still can't quite get it right. Warriors with one of each cannon are marked as illegal despite the dataslate rules being incredibly clear.
