Hello all.

As stated i haven't played in a long time. I now have the main rules and the most recent Nid codex. What other rule books do i need to have complete rules for all models that are current in the nids line?

Right now all you need is tge Chapter Approved 2018 & to go on the warhammer community page and check out the faqs/errata of tyranids, the rulebook and tge BIG FAQs. However soon Chapter approved 2019 will be out by November/December 2019 so od wait abit and just ask around or check out points changes on the Battlescribe app as pts in the book are not good anymore.

If you want some more options to play GSC (nothing for nids) then get the first vigilius defiant book, there is some good stuff in there.  No new units but upgrades to detachements etc.

GSC is a whole other thing for me. I like pure Nid armies but this new army is intriguing.

The main rulebook for the rules set
The Tyranids codex for the majority of our units.
The Genestealer Cult codex for the GSC units.
The xenos 2 index for a few of our model less units like Shrikes.
The Imperial Armour Xenos book from Forgeworld for the forgeworld units.

Chapter approved 2018 for some points updates and maybe some other stuff, but I don't think there was much for us in there.
Chapter approved 2019 for the newest points updates when it comes out and maybe some other stuff.

Vigilius Defiant for some neat detachment rules for us.

I think that is everything Nids currently.
