advice on non-scenery spore chimneys(like on large tyranids)

hey im looking for tips/ turorials on how to make/sculpt the spore chimneys, like the ones found on the back of carnifexes or hive tyrants. all i could find online is tutorials for terrain

not really, i have made Tyranid structures with cork board before with poor results, but chimneys i am not sure how to make them

Easiest way would be to find some spare carnifex/tyrannofex/whatever bits have them. Then just cut them off with a saw or knife.

If you can afford it, look online for third party bits sellers. They are out there. Depending on the bit the price can be quite reasonable.

cheers anyway im trying to make a cool looking tyranid army with a very limited budget so im trying to greenstuff most of the bitz
