I find it odd with rumors as there is a cycle of "Here are the rumors" everyone pitching in their 2 cents that "Naw MaTe tHem RumoRs ArE FaKE" codex drops and the rumors were accurate, everyone goes "Yeah see, told you those rumors were right". I"m sure I'm not the only person to notice it. To all those people who are constantly proven wrong when the books drop I gotta ask (If you'll own up to being wrong) how many rumor drops have to come out and be right before you don't just auto screech that they're fake?
As the rumors stand they look pretty good to me. I like the idea of blips as you show up 9" away just like you would on a deep strike so unless your opponent gets closer on purpose you're getting the same distance as everyone else. No more (please do not swear) showing up from board edges and people complaining that you get to show up and move, unless there are stratagems for that now. And decoy markers are fun so you can trick your opponent on where the majority of your forces will be. Have to wait and see on those traits because I've noticed with a lot of the newer ones they're copy and paste plus an extra rule to make them more unique.
The biggest thing I'm excited for are 7 point Acolytes, they are way to overcosted as is, a guardsmen with 2 attacks isn't worth 11 points plus upgrades. Also here is to hoping they make hand flamers D6 like sisters and much cheaper as well. Paying more for a S3 flamer with less shots than a normal flamer is dumb. I like acolytes but as they stand their gear isn't worth taking because the platform it's on. T3 5+ is too easy to drop to sink 50-100 points into upgrades on them. Personally I just stick to Neophytes with the current rules. Oh and Purestrains dropping down to 12 like Hivestrains, no reason to have the same unit cost more in another book.
