Getting back into the game, looking for guidance 2K

Hey everyone, I'm back after a long time away from the game. Looking for help expanding from 1500 to a 2K list, my local game store runs that for tournaments. This is what i have so far

Flyrant- 213 (2 Dev, MRC, AG+TS)
1 Neurothrope- 70
6 Hive guard- 288 (Impaler cannons)
3 Biovores- 150
3X3 rippers- 99

--(Leviathan or Kraken)? Battalion--
Flyrant- 213 (2 Dev, MRC, AG+TS)

1 Neurothrope- 70
3X10 Gaunts-120

As its written the Neurothropes babysit the smaller bugs for their respective hive fleets, Flyrants push forward and harass. If the second battalion goes Kraken I'll give a flyrant the Chameleonic skin, if i go leviathan i'll put the Maw claws on one. I feel like the list needs a bit more punch but I'm not 100% sure how to apply the pressure. I considered doing a trygon bomb with some devil gaunts, or running extra dakka fex. I am also up to switching a Neuro for a malanthrope, but not sure which one lol. Thanks for reading!

If you go kraken, Genestealers are like crack. They're super good in Kraken with the advance + move along with the Kraken Strategem. They can advance like 20+ inches and still charge.

That was on my radar, I would drop some of the gaunts if i did that for sure. I have 40ish? stealers ill have to check

If you go Kraken then stealers and maybe even try to squeeze Swarmlord in, you would you to drop all the gaunts you could merge them into a tar pit.

Or you could try some warriors and carnifex in leviathan. Maybe OOE
