Exocrine its just to expensive and it has no invun save ,and your opponent does not even have to kill it, if gets 6 wounds you be hitting on BS 5+
and i would not send your GS alone in to combat they will need help. i dont think 4 Hive Guard wil be enough take 6 or none.
i'm not in to hyve guard they just die to easy there T4 and 4+ save and very high point cost makes them ideal assassination candidates for enemy flyers.
they just jump over the building / terrain en shoot them from behind.
I take it you are going want to run kraken with this list ?

Yes bonemace, some times there is stuff on the table with 1-2 wound in charge distance of your dakkafex
Don't be afraid to charge especially if they have invun save.. the mortal wound for impact hit you get and
you get 5 attacks 4 S6 and 1 tail S8 ap-1 D3 damage you be hitting on 3+ on the charge so you have good chance to knock off 1 or 2 wounds

This is your anti tank and second wave to back up your gene stealers fist turn these can do on average 14 inches first turn so second turn after moving you be at 22 inch from starting position and well in range to charge with a +1 inch . they will also be the body guard of your brood lord / walkrant
