Hey all!
I was just convinced to get back to 40k, and the newly released 8th edition. After being away for approx. 6 years or so from all warhammer and tabletop-gaming (sold everything I had so I'm starting from scratch again) I decided to start building a Tyranid army
The thing is, I'm stubborn about themes... more so about how good they actually work in the game unfortunately. So right now I'm focused on building a close-combat focused army and after a few sketched I've decided to aim at something like the list below. I'm looking for some ideas and if it could actually stand a chance against other armies at all (I hate shooty stuff as you can see, and I don't wanna go Gaunt/swarm heavy).
I've noticed the "new thing" is to include 2-3 Flyrants, so I'm ditching that too.
I do like Raveners, Genestealers and tunnel-creatures, so I'm open for suggestions on how to make it better, but yet staying true to the theme of being a horde of footslugging creatures trying to get through the bulletstorm.

Hive Fleet Kraken, 1994/2000pts (7 Command Points, 6 if I decide to put another Relic on either the Broodlord or Swarmlord)

TROOP - 16 Genestealers: 4 Acid Maw
