Does this work for necrons?

In the below list there is an interesting behavior that I was wondering if it worked or not.

The list is arbitrary to some extent but there is a good chance that one of the immortal units could have BS 2+ and with the "my will be down" ability any rolls of 1's will be come 2's and all 5's will cause extra hits. So the question i guess would be "can a unit buff it's self to auto hit every turn or is there a rule that forces you to miss regardless of modifiers? This may be a dumb question but I would like to make sure.

Well remember 1's miss regardless, so even if you manage a +3 to hit rolls 1's will still always miss. So if the 'Crons have a way to get re-tolls of 1's that'll be really useful. But in general +1 to hit for tesla guns is good, just make sure it says on a hit roll of a 6+, not on the roll of a 6, I think a few rules have them one way or another.

Though overall I think you'll want more bodies, even if this is just for small games or a detachment to add to a larger list 5 bodies per isn't hard to kill, and once the 5 drop the squad is gone so no more Reanimation.

1's will always miss however you are correct, the Overlord's ability My Will Be Done will allow them to hit on 2+ and trigger 2 additional hits on a 5+.

What I would say however is that Immortals should always be taken in squads of 10 where possible. This is not only to help avoid the squad being wiped and losing any chance of reanimation protocols, but also to maximise the special ability from the Warlord. I get the logic in 3 smaller groups so that you can get the most out of Szeras - however by turn 3 you'll have likely lost 2 of those squads.

Yeah necrons should always max squads, I just made an arbitrary list for example. Thanks for the answers. I suspected that 1's would always miss but boes anyone have the page number for the rule that states that natural 1's always miss?
