It could work quite well if you keep the warriors hidden so heavy weapons don't really have any targets.
Against certain armies though you might lack punch.
Good luck with it!

Trying to overwhelm opponents thru sheer number of models and attacks, shaving away at wounds, with the Biovores softening units up with Mortal wounds.

Needs Termagants with Devourers. Amazing bang for your buck (+100% cost of Fleshborer Gant for +200% damage output at +50% range). 12 inch range on the Fleshborers is too limiting anyways. Just use some as padding in mixed units and go at least 50% Devourers. Also, you have way too many Hormagaunts. They are for controlling your opponent, not dealing damage. Ditch at least the unit of 25. Also Adrenal Glands for them. Might scrap one of the Gargoyle Broods too, two broods of Horms + one brood of Gargoyles or vice versa should be plenty of control, four units sounds like overkill. Increase the Stealers to 20, and get more anti-tank firepower. Hive Guard are good and fit with the "indirect fire" firebase. Lose the Glands on the Warriors, what purpose do they serve on them? Or just ditch the whole unit, Warriors are really ineffective, and only a minor hassle if deepstrikers come knocking. If you use one of the Gargoyle units to spread them out around your firebase to deny deepstriking, one more reason to use a Malantrophe as Synapse for your firebase. Use the second as Synapse for your Termagants, and the Broodlords as Synapse for the melee units. Malantrophes are too slow to keep up with them anyways.

I've played a lot of swarm lists on paper it looks nice but in practice its a nightmare 1 its a pain to move that many models, now it is easyer because not having to worry about spacing them out for templates any more. 2 terain is your enemy unless there is no terain on the table. It be great. But terain will be a pain it will create bottle necks and slow you down much. 3 I would lose the biovores, you already have a hard time getting across the table don't need spore mines getting in your way 4 take some venomtropes it will keep your swarm alive longer.
5 your army is lacking power. High T multi wound stuff will be a big problem.
6 now your army is wave after wave you are serving up a meal and next turn next course, you need to coke your opponent give him to much he can swallow in one time.
You need deep stikers other then meh gargoyles. Think about ravangers, lictors shrikes if you want small bugsor pods of devil gaunts. Because your deep striking you have less problems with bottle neks. And turn 1/2 to 3/4 of your army could be in combat.

My thoughts having played a few games with a list that includes 150 gaunts and 45 genestealers:
Don't get Venomthropes, Malenthropes do the same thing. Units of 30 Hormogaunts, in my experience, are a bit of a waste. Your Hormies are going to try and charge and tie units up, but they're never going to do much damage. Units of 22 are better in my experience. 2 Broodlords are redundant. Take Genestealers instead. A GSC retinue of 3x 14 Genestealers and 1 Patriarch is a good sweet spot I've found. This is where the substantial damage comes from in your army. Gargoyles are eh. Same can be accomplished with Sky Slashers - if you can be bothered to buy/convert them. A unit of 30 Termagants should have at least 10 Devourers in them - Devourers are surprisingly lethal. I take 12, with 18 vanilla.
I disagree with taking shrikes or lictors. Eh for damage. Consider a Mawloc. My game today saw my Mawloc doing 3 wounds to a Landraider, 2 to Dreadnaught and 2 to Devestators when it popped up. Then it got targeted down and did even more wounds in death throws. Worth the 105 points easy.
You will advance first turn, second turn aim to be in combat.
Ultimately, where is the substantial damage coming from in your list? Because it's not in your Termagants - which have no Devourers. Hormogaunts are identical with +1 extra attack - they're really only good at assaulting and wrapping around enemies, which they do well. Biovores will whittle them down, but not substantially. 15 Genestealers alone likely won't get very far - and 2 Broodlords are redundant.

Tried the list this weekend in a tournament, got first place 3-0 , playing ITC rules. made a couple of changes at the end, drooped the Broodlords for two Primes, 2x9 rippers and lowered gargoyles to a squad of 30 and 5 Mucoloid spores. I gave 2 squads of gaunts 6 Devourers each, but really ddint do much, i dont have that many devourers. I had about 220 models on the board. The army is not really designed to kill much, is a Board denial and Objective control army and it did great at it, didnt kill that many models , but it won the missions which is what matters. Hormogaunts can kill anything T5 3+ save fine with the numbers of attacks and attrition

Why not try keeping one of the broodlords for synapse, to buff the stealers, do more AT damage and to use catalyst? It seems like a broodlord would be useful, but 2 is probably excessive (unless you want to have the horror as well).
If the warriors are just for babysitting, try giving them double scytals, or scytals and bs/lw.

I dropped the Stealers as well Then I would definitely bring back both broodlords, as you need the antitank damage that you lost from removing stealers, and the horror to stop some of the damage hitting the swarm. That's just me though, but I feel that the stealers were really important in that list.

This is what i ended up using. Thinking bout dropping the devourers and the primes, 4 Mucoloid spores, and go with 2 Brood Lords and 2 Mawlocs.
