I'm a little confused as to where the sentinels are coming from as those are from genestealer cults. Is this an unbound army?

You can take a TYRANIDS Detachment, which includes both the GSC and Tyranids army lists, as they both have the TYRANIDS keyword.

Hence it being a TYRANID detachment and not a HIVE FLEET detachment.

Why a patrol detachment? Why take those Sentinels when you could take pyrovores? Why take those sentinels at all?

I would also reconsider the Stranglethorn on your carnifex. It's expensive and pretty bad.

Overall I think this list has no real melee units, except for the Carnifex, and particularly underwhelming shooting. There are no first turn threats and very limited mobility. It's going to be shot off the board in a tournament setting.

Its a more casual tournament. And Sentinels are MUCH more durable then pyrovores and don't need a drop pod to be useful. They're more expensive but for 17 points more I get +1 Toughness, +2 wounds, +1 Save and Smoke Launchers as opposed to Pyrovores, and only sacrifice some already lackluster melee (Mitigated to a degree for 2 points with sentinel chainsaws).  Could swap the Stranglethorns for Deathspitters or something if needed. As for melee units, I could drop the Fleshhooks on the Warriors and put Rending Claws on instead. Alternatively, drop a Termagant unit for Genestealers or Hormagaunts. And you'd be surprised at how effective shooting Barbed Strangler and Deathspitter warriors are. -1 AP is actually pretty good for 5 points, and being able to get a few more shots then normal in with the Strangler can prove helpful for otherwise the same profile. If not, might exchange them for Venom Cannons which have +3 strength as opposed to Barbed Stranglers.

Decided to take the Adrenal Glands off the Primes and put Crushing Claws on the Deathspitter fexen instead.
