Thinking of repainting my swarm to the nephilim king myself

Call me a an idiot but isn't the nephilim king scheme just a redo of the behemoth scheme?
Obviously all of these are adaptions of the big fleets and smaller splinterfleets but that one especially is almost identical.
The only difference i cans ee is that the carapace is toned down in saturation and it's also hardy new.
I remember a sample picture of tyranid color schemes in either ien fo the old 40k rulebooks or Codexes showing a plinterfleet of Behemeoth that looked almost exactly like this (can't find it for the life of me though)
Don't get me wrong Behemoth is a great scheme (not that easy to pull off correctly though) but i hardly see the novelty here.

Anyway i have been thinking about purchasing the painting guide myself.
Would you guys recommend it ?

Nephilim is a splinter fleet that survived from behemoth, maglodan is from kraken. Other two are from leviathen

The paint guide is half fluff. Half paint guide. I like it but I hate money apparently

What? Liberame the paint guide is half fluff? I wasn't going to get it, but if there is fluff in there, I might have to get it. How is the fluff in there?

It talks about how each splinter fleet has evolved. Like the nephilim fleet was the remnants of behemoth that limped away from maccrage and slipped unnoticed by imperial sensors due to its size, while other remnants of behemoth were being systematically hunted by the remaining smurfs. Eventually it woke up from dormancy and started slowly feeding until it got huge becomes a threat again and does battle with house raven of imperial knights, who got their butts kicked but say it was a good fight blah blah. I haven't read it all yet cause work, but I'm gonna take a gander at it today

There is about 2-3 pages of fluff, a small short story per splinter fleet. And then there is the small presentation of the vanguards of each (they are the photos I posted here) it does a small fluff talk on what the vanguard consisted of and how they interacted with each other.

Edit, okay maybe more than that, they don't start painting until page 60

Hey, I know this thread is old-ish, I was just wondering if anyone already started painting up some models in the color schemes from the book. I kinda on the fence right now wheter to go with Kraken, Leviathan or Court of the Nephilim King :/ I'll most likely paint up one model of each to see it live, but wouldn't mind some non GW-pics.

PS: Thanks for putting up the pics liberame, this thread got me started on liking the Court scheme!

I haven't got it yet. Got the Deathstorm box set and the Leviathan book, so not much spare cash. Also I am using Vallejo paints, so the guides I don't think will really help me out since I am not using GW paints. Still want it for the fluff but will just have to wait till after Christmas now.
