1000 points unbound carnifex list

Hello boys and some girls, got some questions about an unbound army.

About some weeks I got a 1000 point tournament, and I want to play with a unbound list, with a lot of carfexen, but haven't played a lot with my tyranids (didnt play with tyranids for almost 1,5 year).

So can you give me advice on what to do. I got 3 carnifexen with 4 scyted talons, and 3 carnifexen with scyted talons and crushing claws, the swarmlord, a hive tyrant with bonesword and lash whip, a lot of hormo gaunts, devilgaunts, and notmal termagaunts, a trygon prime, a tervigon and some genestealers.

Can you give me advies on what to do? Try to make a CC army.

I think the main problem with that list is the damage output you can deliver.

A list like what you want, would have a really small amount of miniatures, with few attacks, that only can do damage in close combat. Most of your units wont's get to combat and even then, they will get tarpited easily. If the Carnis were Dakkafexes would be different, I think.

To make a CC army maybe you would need some things to tarpit the shooty enemy units to let the Carnifex (not a lot of them) get to CC and to kill the big-garbish units that would nullify your carnifexes.

Give all the fexen AG, you'll need it. That'll put them at 805. Drop the lwbs on the HT for "counts as" boneswords, add AG, you'll hit 1k on the nose. Expect heavy casualties and few wins, but have fun when you hit cc

Biggest problem is IB issues. I would skip the HT and go with 2 malanthropes. Gives synapse and shrouded. Run across the board and smash things in the face. Not the most competitive army, but should be fun.
