I have an upcoming tournament in Portugal. 1500pts, all CAD Slots must have at least one unit, LOW are allowed and i suspect some Imperial Knights will appear.
The list should maximize the hierodule potential with the swarmy buffs. Opinions?

I like it but I'd rather have useful things in every slot rather than the wasted spore mines. Is the Swarmlord there for much more than PE on the heirodule? Are you expecting many combat threats that stomp won't handle?

He is there for the buffs and psychic powers, also because its a 5W warlord that with 18' synapse. When i look at my list he appears to be low on the enemy priority which is just fine. So he should be a counter atack unit thats ia there to buff the army and control the troops

I agree with the spore mines, unless you're using them to zone him out, or hopefully he shoots them and adds target priority issues. Though it looks like he really only has 3 things to shoot at. If he can take out a tyrant a turn he has the rest of the game to go at the hierdule. And after that you really don't have anything threatening. Maybe find some room for something more Killy?

The only buff you can put on heirodule is onslaught, since he has FnP anyway. With his 12" move and 48" range I really don't think it's necessary. You basically just want him moving toward the centre of the board, in terrain, with shrouded.
Don't get me wrong I like ol swarmy and I uses to run him all the time. In this list though it seems a lot of points to add PE, when those points could be almost 2 FMCs or just plenty more troops.

I can swap the tyrannofex for 1 biovore and 1 hive crone? What do you suggest?
The spores are there to fill the slot but they can hold a backfied objective. I need to have at least one unit in every slot, so the spores are a cheap bargain....

Yes but if i take this LOW i should make those 12 str10 shots worth their while. Also swarmy can defend my support units from pods and deep strike units that will try to kill them and my troops. The alternative to swarmy would be 1 flyrant and 1 biovore, and maybe trade the Tfex for 1 carnifex and another biovore. Is this better? Enviado do meu iPad usando o Tapatalk

PE on the heirodule from Swarmlord gives him on average 1 extra hit per turn. It's useful but it's not game breaking, especially for 285 points. If you can make his other benefits worth the rest of those points, then keep him in.
If you dropped him and the spores, you could afford a massive gargoyle brood to stop any assault units getting past your midfield. None of your backfield units particularly need synapse especially as the Tfex should be pushing forward of the Malanthrope anyway. Maybe leave some warriors backfield if you are worried about camping an objective. You'll have loads of points left.

Both the crone and the tyrannofex are solid options, but a lone biovore is significantly less useful than a full brood. I'd stick with the tyrannofex. I hadn't thought about spore mines as scoring backfield out of LOS objectives. If you have a purpose for them then great, I think what you have is better than the alternative you suggested.

You are right they cant but most players leave non OS In their Backfield to score objs late game, and The spores might go and contest or try to blow them up, but its situational

Seems reasonable. What do the rippers do now you have warriors to hold objectives?
The tunnel rippers and spore mines could be traded in for 10 gargoyles, which would give you a nice option of deepstriking or screening the heirodule/flyrants turn 1.

The tournament rules say i must have at least 1unit In every slot so the spores are a necessary Tax. If i Take the warriors i Can use the rippers to score objectives far Away from my main force, or contest enemy objectives or just use them as bait to Draw enemy units out of position

You can replace the spores with gargoyles, if you drop one of the ripper broods. I think it would give you stronger options.
