New player needing help to make a 1500 point list!

Hey there, I am a new Tyranid player and was wondering if I could get some help. Over the years since fourth edition I have collected nids from players that have abandoned them in order to build other armies. I however am in love with nids and see no better army for me to field. I have spent roughly $210 collecting all of these models and could use help forging a 1500 point list with them. I own the 6th edition codex, but could use the insight of veterans in my list creation. To be honest I have no idea what to do with my models and have made too many lists that never felt satisfying. I am hoping with your help I can make the ultimate list with the lads for now.

Here is a list of all the models I currently own:

1 Flying Tyrant / armed with two twin-linked devourers
1 Swarmlord
1 Tyrant Guard / the older model sadly
1 Deathleaper

9 Warriors / One armed with a Barbed Strangler and the rest have Deathspitters
28 Genestealers with rending claws
30 Termagants with their standard borer
30 Termagants with Devourers
60 Hormagaunts
8 Ripper swarms

2 Hive Guards
2 Zoanthropes
2 Pyrovores that I will be using as Biovores because I think they look cooler, but know are completely useless being who they really are

4 Raveners with talons
10 Gargoyles
6 Spore Mines

2 Carnifexs with crushing claws
1 Mawloc

Those are all of the models I own and hopefully with your help I can turn them into a kick ass list that can handle going toe to toe with other armies.

remove the deathleaper. add more tyrand guards.

One tyrand guard is not going to be enough to protect your swamrlord.

I think you have too many different types of units. Carnifexes are REALLy slow moving down the board, so i would give them atleast one set of Twinlinked devourers.

Take your 30units of gaunts and split them 15 fleshborer/15 devourers.
