Dimachaeron orientated build

Hi guys, 


i've been a long time lurker here. usually play crons and have collected nids to paint for the last year or so... I just ordered the dima model and man am i excited to paint it!

however with the £$£$£ ive put out on nids in the past i figured it was time to assemble an actual hive to play with


Could any1 suggest some great ideas as to how i could orientate and build an army around the dimachaeron i have ordered?


FYI i have 8 Carnifexes varying weps (i love painting and assembling these fellas)

2 squads of hormogaunts 2 termangaunt squads 2 gargoyle squads


I'm open to buy a few more models if it means the dima brood is effective

I'm sorry if this comes across as a lazy mans method of forming an army.. i just literally no squat about nids(i dont even have a codex lol) (ordered with the dima tho so d/w )

The Fex spam is probably perfect to run up with your Dima as long as you give them Adrenal Glands. Your opponent will have tough choices to make before you reach his lines.

Fast screeners (either gargoyles or hormagants) backed up by malanthropes. 2-3 flyrants, depending on points. Dakkafexes and troops option is your choice to round out list.

Thanks guys really appreciate it, was thinking of using my hormagaunts / gargs for shield walling up into there lines.. just wasnt sure of what else . i love the fex wall looks so brutal

any of ideas out there?
