Fielded mine for the first time on Weds vs Wolves.
Despite the shot (finished on turn 3; ran out of time, this is from then and not staged lol) that Wolf Priest actually fell to a Warp Blast, a Venom Cannon and 2 Deathspitters before the Dimachaeron got to him - and he would've gotten to him the next turn regardless.
The Relic mission, El Dima advanced towards the relic in the centre until some Grey Hunters podded in behind my forces. The Dimachaeron charged, took a single wound from overwatch fire and promptly killed 7 Marines in a single round, eating one to get a 4+FNP plasm token. The Hunters broke, El Dima caught them in a sweeping advance easily and finished them off in the next round, gaining another plasm token in the process. The plasm tokens are great and it's pretty easy to get FNP in; in two rounds of combat (1 game turn) in Turn 2 I got a token each time, granting FNP for turns 3 & 4 before the third turn had even started. With the death of the Priest I had a choice: leap over 4" of ruin and pile into the 4 Wolf Guard terminators savaging my Tyrant (it died) or double-back again to engage the drop-pod itself to deny Linebreaker. The Tyrant was down to it's final wound with both Guards dead and would almost certainly give up a VP while the pod was definitely a VP. Charged the pod, HOW took one HP from it and the remaining 7 attacks wrecked it. With the death of my Tyrant I gave up a VP but with the death of the pod I denied a VP for a 2-2 draw.
PS - Here is my force deployed and about to advance:
PPS - Yes, that is a tree on a flying stand. I left my Crone at home like a div and the tree got proxied in...I ended up putting a spare Gaunt on top of it to stop it blending in with the terrain. That CroneTreeGaunt took 2 HPs from a Land Raider
